My intent to get this was basically to get something that would “compete” with the Crankbrothers multi-tool without paying so much. I would say, for the most part, it has done that job. So that’s good. I wanted something that had Torx (“star”) bits…got that, with typical sizes (T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30). So that’s good as well. Each multi-tool is solid. I don’t have any concern that these would strip or wear down easily.
It would appear that Rockbros point with these two multi-tools is that one has the Torx bits and the other has 3 socket bits (8mm, 9mm, 10mm). So…okay. But I don’t quite understand why the rest of the tools are exactly the same from one to the other. Basically the same size hex wrenches, the same size “solid wrench”, and the same size Phillips and flat head screwdrivers. Why bother having all the same sizes with two separate tools? The “solid wrench” has 8mm, 10mm, and 15mm…not sure I’d ever use those, but whatever. But not mentioned in the description is that at the end of the solid wrench is a 14G spoke wrench…why not mention that as part of the specs? and why not include a couple more spoke wrench sizes? So it just seems like there could have been a lot more thought put into the whole point of 2 different multi-tools. I also noticed that the Torx bits don’t fit tightly in the storage tray…one fell out right when I opened it. So it could be pretty easy to lose one or more of these when using it out on the trail.
One important thing to also note is that the technical details state 7.8 ounces…that is for ONE multi-tool, not for both. You can see in the photo that the both of them together weigh in at 15 ounces. Most cyclists aren’t big fans of adding a pound to their riding pack…so I don’t see ever carrying both of these.
The included tire levers are pretty basic…just a pair of plastic levers, likely to snap with super tight tires. But always nice to have spare levers I guess.
All in all, this was not a bad purchase. It cost half the price of the “high end” multi-tools and will likely serve my purposes just fine.

Nothing much to say about this tool set, they fit in a saddle bag and top tube bag and I was able to fix my handlebar alignment after a fun crash.

Lots of tools to be had here. These are chunky and seem to be a direct copy of the Blackburn multitool I bought from the big box store we all love to hate. HOWEVER, the side panels are beefier, making the tool stronger and more durable to use. For the price these are great.

These have so many tools available and are quite compact when not in use. They easily fit inside the storage pouch on my bike. Solid value for a quality tool.
