I couldn’t use the lower stands. The bike that I own has a rear suspension so it wont-work.

The rack works well with 700c wheels and fenders (needs extra clearance). The 2-piece arm works really well so that the rack can be positioned as needed. The frame mount was a little too long for my bike so the adjustable frame allowed me to mount it into the seat stem rather than the frame.
There are feed loops on the rack for tie downs, a nice feature. Well thought out, recommended. Easy to install just by looking at the pictures. Sturdy.
