I like the product, but there is no tip applicator, so more than half is wasted on a cloth or brush when applying the lube. dissapointing.

When applied properly – and “fully” wiped off – and repeatedly after each ride till the polymer’s lifespan is consumed – about 60 hours on road, this IS a beyond exceptional product, very long lasting. I have exclusively used Dumonde Tech lubricants for on to 25 years (now) and need not consider anything else.

Using this lube has actually given me a few extra watts when riding. The quietness of the chain is an added plus.
I will keep this handy in my tool kit

Hands down the best multi-condition chain lube IF you follow the instructions. I swear by It. Better than any other stuff I’ve tried. It lasts and lasts yet doesn’t build up greasy gunk. Just rinse with water and wipe with a rag occasionally after muddy or really dusty rides and you are good. Instructions- 1. All old lube needs to be cleaned off your chain before using, which you should always do if switching chain product types. Soaking the chain in a tub with Dawn dish soap and then letting the chain dry completely works very well. Some say you don’t really need to do the full clean, but for the best performance, you really do. 2. One drop per link, and wipe off excess by holding a rag around the chain and turning the pedal. 3. Do not over apply. You don’t want to re-lube until you hear a bit of excess chain noise, and then do an application. I wasn’t sure what that meant, but the chain started to sound a little louder than usual on a ride. Re-applied when I got home and back to normal. I’ll never use anything else again.

I’ve used LOTS of lubes. I’m also a fan of Rock N Roll Red, Lilly, and Nix but I’ve settled on this one for my gravel, road, and mountain bikes; basically for all my bikes except my cruisers. A little goes a very long way. I’m shocked at how long one application of this lasts. I can go hundreds of miles before reapplying although I do a basic cleaning of my chain after each ride by using a microfiber towel to wipe the grit off. When the chain starts to make noise I’ll either give my bike a thorough cleaning and then reapply lube or do a quick clean. A quick clean simply entails a thorough wiping of my drivetrain with a towel and then reapplying lube. I’ve also noticed my pulleys stay cleaner with this product.

This has been my go to for about 3 years now. Just a drop on each side of the links then back spin with a rag on it. Works great for the dry dusty trails in central NorCal (Auburn, Tahoe/Truckee, Downieville).
