Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale with over 1675 members and growing daily, the safety, health and well-being of our riders is always priority one. The same goes for our mounts as well. It is discussed before every slow roll. And one thing all my members know about me is that I love customization and personalization. And if it serves both safety and customization then roll on I say! My local bike shop Cycling Forza in Coral Springs could tell you how much they make from our patronage. And not just for technical stuff but for lots of other fun stuff as well, gadgets, toys and accessories are always welcome. I like to gift away some small safety item to our new members at the beginning of each slow roll, most often it will be a safety whistle to wear while riding. Sometimes the gifting goes to another level. It might be a lighting kit, a set of pedals or grips, locking kits, occasionally even a pair of gloves or a helmet. I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. And having your ‘goods’ with you is all about ‘peace’ of mind. So this PRO BIKE TOOL Bike Storage Bag can come in very handy. I do have to admit though that I was expecting the bag to be just a bit bigger. This is not a deal breaker but just saying. There is a falling floor built into the bag so you have an option for extra space-even if just a little. It just might make the difference for your using this or not. The only mounting availability is the set of velcro straps sewn into the bag. The inside is just basic storage-no pockets or sections. The white panels on the outside of the bag are also very reflective and very bright with light on it. This will make a great gift for one of my lucky club members who might be in need. The bag depicted in the pics is WAY bigger than what I got. And the dimensions in the description are totally wrong. I don’t know where they get 11.8 x 3.5 inches.

The bag is only 7 inches long, 4.25 inches high (when the expansion zipper is closed), and 4 inches wide. Unzipping the expansion and pushing it down only gives you one extra inch in the height. So it’s 5.25 inches high when opened up. It’s a tiny little cube of a bag, barely bigger than both my fists put together.

The seller’s photos display the bag as quite large, more than half the size of a standard cruiser bike seat.

Edit: The seller NOW does have one pic in there stating the dimensions I measured. But the other pics depict a much larger product relative to the seat, and the dimensions stated in the description text don’t match, and seem to be based on what you perceive, not the actual measurements.

I wanted a bag for my E-scooter seat, which has the same undercarriage as a cruiser seat, to put my bike lock (cable type) and some miscellaneous small things in there. But the lock barely fits in there by itself. I had to coil it very tightly and jam it in there with the expansion opened up. But there’s no more room for anything else. Not even a phone. (MY posts show how tiny this bag really is relative to the seat.)

I’m not sure where all the great reviews are coming from. My guess is another product entirely, or spam to get their ratings up. Because the photos and dimensions listed are a complete mismatch, and are made to make you believe it’s bigger than it actually is.

It’s sad, because this is the only seat bag I’ve been able to find that should’ve fit under a vertical seat post with a cruiser seat (that has flat level bars under it for the straps), essentially hanging straight down. Everything else out there is made to secure to an angled seat post, with sport bike seat (that also has angled bars under it).

This is a great little bike bag under your seats as I was investigating it I noticed in the very back there was a little pouch and I was looking to put an AirTag on my bike so now that’s where I put it. that’s a great spot.
