I keep this and its parts in a half-gallon zip lock bag. Uh, it did fall apart and off the chain but maybe that was some error on my part. It was easy to use and it cleaned the chain. Even clean, the chain continued to bind and jump. I loosened all the binding links I could find but the problem continued. The bike didn’t have that many miles on the drive train and the wear wasn’t apparent on the sprockets or the chain but the grit had, apparently, gotten inside the rollers and continued to bind the links. I should have cleaned the chain more regularly. Rather than replace the chain I got an IGH bike with a belt. I’d wanted one for 30 years but they were hard to get for years then when they came to Amercia I was loyal or cheap. I wasn’t going to replace a functioning derailler bike just because I knew there were better younger models. I’m keeping this for my ̶m̶i̶s̶t̶r̶e̶s̶s̶ sport bike that doesn’t get the dirty unappreciated miles.

Great cleaner – superb results!
Just be aware that if you have a bike where the chain doesn’t move back when you backpedal (like some electric bikes) you’ll have to fix the pedal to the cogwheel using something like a zip tie when cleaning.
Not a big deal at all. I just felt very stupid for a minute or two until I realized that my bike behaved differently to the ones the instruction was written for.

works much better than alternatives. nice hook (pig tail) so you do not need to hold it while cleaning. Nice option to pour chain cleaning liquid while it is attached. There are cheaper options – but even more expensive brand name options are much worse.

I had a Park chain cleaner previously, and it worked, although it was both finicky and flimsy. It finally broke. When it was time to clean by bike chains, i started looking around and found Pedro’s pig and after reading the reviews I gave it a shot.
It is head and shoulders better than anything else I’ve used. Intuitive to use, easy to disassemble and clean. Highest recommendation.

Einfach, praktisch und in seiner Funktion top!
Zusammen mit einem guten Ketttenreiniger, war die Kette innerhalb weniger Minuten wieder super sauber!
Das ganze lief so einfach und effektiv von der Hand, dass ich es sogar drinnen gemacht habe.
Stellt man sich nicht ungeschickt an, geht auch nichts daneben.
Die Reinigung von dem Gerät selbst, war auch einfach.
Ab jetzt wird die Kette wieder häufiger gereinigt!

Used the Pig today for the first time. Minimal mess and my chain is very clean! Much better design than the Park Tool I’ve been using for years – and I’m a big park fan, but this Pedro’s thingy is superior.
