These are metric thread not SAE so be careful what you purchase if you are going into existing threaded material.

No real issue with the hook. The description said it included the nuts but they were missing. Had to purchase them at a local hardware store – metric fine thread.

I used the hooks to attach to Unistrut trolleys for a ceiling mounted bike rack. The irritation is the glue Park Tool uses to attach their label. It left a lot of residue on the hook coating and it took some effort to get the gunk off. Hey, Park Tool, use an adhesive like Apple does and think of the customer using your product!

I was looking to mount a bike hook in a thru-hole and struggled a bit to find machine-thread hooks in this size. I’m really happy that park tool carries them. I mounted it in a thru-hole on a board, put a fender washer on each side and included a lock washer to keep the assembly snug. It holds my road bike, and visitors’ road, mountain, or commuter bikes. The hooks are well-made, and with good installation I’m not concerned about it going anywhere.

Well, I mean, it’s a hook. As hooks go, this one is as good as any, hence the five stars. The rubber coating is intact, the threads are clean, and the nuts are… nutty.
I used this to hang a cord for a surge protector from one of my workbenches. Kind of light duty for a hook this strong; but better too strong than too weak.

At the time of purchase months ago, details showed 1 item but 2 hooks. Be aware the details for the black hook still show two hooks. The price is only for 1 hook. Low rating is for inaccurate details and lack of responsibility.

These are great to hang your bikes when mounted on unistrut. Awesome when you can’t use a traditional wood screw thread.

Although I had to go to a local hardware store to purchase two washers, I fastened my storage hook to an adjustable wire shelf to store my bike vertically in a limited storage space. Works perfectly, more stable and much cheaper than the vertical bike storage that I purchased and assembled.
