I read some of the reviews about people breaking this chain tool. Ive used it multiple times now and its extremely robust and easy to use. I would have to absolutely have to either abuse or somehow manage to use it wrong to feel like I would break it. For sure a shop quality tool that I have seen used in shops and popular youtube channels like BermPeak. No regrets here.

IYKYK (If you know, you know). This is simply the top of the line chain tool. Park knocks it out of the park again with this tool. The combined quality, features and ease of use make it a tool every bike mechanic should own if you do any decent amount of riding. I grew up managing a bike shop for quite a few years and we used the Park Chain Tool for everything we did. When I started riding again recently, I was looking for a way to maintain my bike without having to bring it into my local bike shop and changing your bike chain is one of the most needed maintenance tasks. By nature, chains stretch over time, causing them to shift incorrectly or even not at all since the teeth of your sprockets no longer fits within the spacing of the chain links. I recently reached over 650 miles on my bike, checked the wear of my chain (with the Park Chain Checker Tool) and immediately replaced my chain. Not only did my bike shift better, but I had peace of mind knowing that my chain was ready to rock for another 650 miles. Simply the best. Great tool!

I have tried several different chain breakers, some cheap and some expensive, this one is the best. No bells or whistles, simple design and easy to use. Durable with a smooth operation. Feels good in hand and isn’t overly heavy. This tool makes it easy to remove links and cut the chain. This is the best value for your money.

I usually take my triathlon bike to the bike shop for a new chain but this time I decided to do it myself. This tool made the job super easy. I should have bought this a long time ago! The directions are easy to follow and it popped the chain pin out with ease. I have several other Park Tools that are excellent quality and this one is no different.

Purchased tool to add to my toolkit for bike repairs and maintenance. Tool is excellent, solid, easy to use, decent price and replaced another brand which had nowhere near the same quality (broke on first use) – this one is solid and robust.

Interaction with seller was easy and hassle-free. Purchased and received tool next day – excellent customer service,, can’t ask for more.

I ordered a replacement chain for my Trek bike. The official Trek site was misleading in its specifications, and I ended up getting a chain that was five links too long. The Park Tool Chain Tool (CT-3.3) to the rescue! I easily removed the pin from a link within seconds of receiving it.

Unfortunately, in my excitement, I didn’t measure before rushing into my task. REMEMBER: “Measure twice, cut once.” So I messed up. With Shimano chain pins in hand, I used the Park Tool Chain Tool (CT-3.3) to quickly insert a replacement pin into my foolishly separated chain link.

Like other Park Tool offerings, the Chain Tool is of high build quality and design quality. It serves its purpose almost perfectly. If you are going to play around with bike maintenance, you are probably going to need one of these bad boys. You won’t be disappointed. As they say, buy once, cry once. Don’t go cheap and have a junk tool fall apart after one use. Get Park Tool.

I had previously purchased a cheap chain breaker, and it kind of worked, but it was hard to use and often required using pliers on it to get enough force to push the pin out. After several uses, the pin broke off. So I bought this tool. Like all the other Park tools I have purchased, it is high quality, sturdy, and feels like it will last forever. I replaced an old, rusty chain today, and it worked like a charm. Easily pushed out the pin without having to use pliers or anything on it. Smooth and easy. Should have bought this one first. I love Park tools. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but they just work as intended, and feel like they will work forever.
