I had accomplished this using a very large channel lock ( Slip joint ) plier. I’m stubborn but this converted me.

Toll ! Mein erster Kassettenwechsel. Mit einem online Video und diesem Werkzeug kein Hexenwerk. Das Material ist robust, passgenau und wird sicher noch viele Kassetten wechseln. Empfehlung

I used this tool kit to remove a SRAM 10-44 cassette mounted to a SRAM XDR free hub. I bought a set of carbon wheels and switched the cassette from my old alloy wheels to the carbon wheels for my gravel bike. The tools worked flawlessly. Engagement of the lock ring tool felt precise and solid. I’m not going to be removing and installing cassettes on a daily basis so saw no need to pay for a Park tool. The Oumers tool kit did its job and did it well.

After years of using an old piece of chain in a pair of vice grips, I decided to treat myself and buy the right tool. Makes taking off a casette a breeze and saves me from destroying my fingers and knuckles. Nice sturdy, solid handle with a grip on it. Only used it one time fo far but if it’s anything like my other Oumers tools it should stand the test of time. Saving my fingers is well worth the price.

Bought this as part of a DIY effort to maintain my new eBike. Worked exactly as planned, and the socket fit overtop the quick-release axle end nut, so RnR of my cassette was super quick and easy. Socket also fits a 1/2″ drive torque wrench to ensure proper tightening of the lockring.

I misplaced my previous lockring remover and chain whip and needed one urgently, so saw this offering at a good price and liked the fact that my torque wrench would fit straight onto the lock ring, so I could torque it correctly when refitting. Both appear solid enough and removal of the cassette was a breeze and Ill try not lose this one (sorry misplaced)… good value for money, and it does the job, recommended!

This tool works for a while, but the whip broke off the tool when trying to tighten today. I’ve had it for five years, used it probably less than 15 times.

Worked well for changing out an 8 speed cassette on my wife’s ebike. There are videos out there showing how to do it without these “special tools” but I don’t think it would have been possible to change hers without these as it was extremely tight. Worked great but required a lot of muscle and a little cussing to get the job done…

Changement de cassette sur un btwin rockrider 500 avec la cassette de série (sram il me semble), remplacée par une cassette shimano. La douille et le fouet a chaine font le job sans problème.
