So long as you understand the limits, this is a really good budget bike repair stand. It does not appear to be intended for use beyond while actively repairing a bicycle.
The description, pics, etc all agree (some listings don’t) that the max weight limit is 45lbs. The clamp can fit tubes 1-3″. I think the biggest issue if you were to leave a bike in it long term is if it got bumped you’d probably overstress the vertical tube or it’s weld to the plate.
The clamp is easy to operate and doesn’t mar your finish.
At $20 (current price after discounts) it’s a no brainer for light duty use.

For years I’ve used my trailer-hitch bike-rack as my repair stand. However, my bike rack is HUGE and it only offers one position. I finally decided it was time to get an actual bike repair stand.
This bike repair stand sold by NATGAI is the least expensive, and most basic stand I could find. I wanted something that I could mount on a wall, or clamp to my workbench, and then put away when it’s not needed. Mission accomplished.
The cam levers are really easy to operate with just one hand, and they are SUPER solid. I like that they allow me to pivot the bike however I need to so that I don’t have to hunch or kneel to work on my bikes. Now re-indexing gears, re-truing wheels, or just cleaning the chain will be much easier.
Because it’s such a compact design, I’m now thinking of ways that I can temporarily fasten it on my truck tailgate. That way I have a place to do field repairs for me or my friends if/when necessary.
