La utilizo para montar todos los componentes que no son de carbono, aunque se supone que con carbono también funciona.
Mantiene el engrase y evita entrada de suciedad o gripajes de tornillos por la humedad.
No mancha demasiado y es llamativa, incluso huele bien.

I serviced my rear hub pawls a month ago just before putting my MTB aside for two weeks. I applied Biogrease liberally to all ratchet surfaces before reassembling the hub. I cycled four times including once on trails (10 miles) and three times on asphalt, for a total of about 50 miles. My pawls were initially pretty quiet but now they are back to making a loud pawl clicking sound. I interpret the sound change as representing a partial loss of grease viscosity.
By comparison, my other rear wheel has a couple hundred miles on it with thick petroleum grease and no increase in pawl noise.
While this A-vs-B test is hardly scientific, the acoustic change seems too rapid for grease running only low-milage, light duty cycling under 100% dry conditions. I am glad I didn’t lubricate my bearings with Biogrease.
I will continue using Biogrease for pedal threads and other low shear parts. For higher wear parts I will stick with non-biodegradable, high quality synthetic grease.
