We use this when we ride quads and dirt bikes. Decent enough quality for kids at this age. Highly recommend for any children on motorized vehicles.

Got a set of these for my 5 year old grand-daughter so that she can be prepared to go and ride with us and keep her safe. She just thinks they look cool. I was surprised at how much adjustment there was and we were able to get them to fit fairly well. We also tried them on my 10 year old son and were able to get pretty good fit on him. Buying gear for kids isn’t inexpensive and it seems that these will be able to grow with a kid for at least 3-5 years and that is a major bonus. Durability wise, I can’t really comment. I haven’t had them that long and we thankfully have not and will not need to see how well they protect but they seem to be made well and have good padding and protection in the right places. If I see any failures or anything come up that concerns me, I will try and update, but these look like a great set of starter protection for an up and coming rider.

    My Ramblings
I let my kids take as many risks as possible. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The rule though is, whatever you do, try to not make the damage permanent. Pads, Armor, Helmets are all part of letting you walk away with most of your pieces and parts. So let’s take a closer look at these.

    To the Point or TL;DR
Neck to calf protection, segmented flexible spine pad, Comfortable & good upper part fit that allows full range of unimpeded movement. Caveat: Short straps makes it tight on thigh & calves. These are a must for risk taking kids.

    The Good Stuff
These are excellent pads that protect a great deal of the body and just what we wanted for our kid when doing the dangerous fun stuff on two wheels. The top parts fit nicely with room to grow (7yo male), but lowers… see below Bad Stuff. This kind of protection can really make the difference between bloodletting and walking away from something serious. Especially like the segmented, back/spine protection. Add helmet and 2 wheels and let the games begin.

    The Bad Stuff
Caveat is you can’t have big thighs or calves. Short straps on thigh & calf pads makes them tight and uncomfortable for a 7yo male. Standing on pegs all the time builds those thigh and calf muscles. We shouldn’t needed to; however, our solution was to add some velcro extension straps to make them comfortable.

    Who May Use/Like It
Those wanting to give their kids the safety to have dangerous fun.

    Me Final Thoughts
This makes me feel a little better when one of my kids say “hey, watch this”.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Hope it helps!

    All the best, Just Benjamin

This kids’ dirt bike gear provides great protection for motocross, skating, and skiing. The armor vest covers the elbows, knees, back, and chest, keeping them safe during rides.

We recently got my 10 year old a beginner dirt bike and needed some basic protection for those low to mid speed falls. The vest is great coverage for the key areas such as his back, ribs, and shoulders, and the fit is great. The knee and elbow pads are nice as well, although we don’t frequently use those, but they do fit well and don’t really seem to impede his ability to ride. As a parent, I want to minimize the risk of injury when my son rides the dirt bike, so this set, combined with good boots, helmet and gloves is all he needs.

This is a very well made armored vest
The plastic outer is recessed and durable.
I especially like the spinal coverage that is vented and flexes with the wearer
The padding is thick and stitching is well done
Padding coverage is over the shoulders and torso area
Come with a couple shin guards that are also padded with a hard outer shell
everything is secured with hook and loop straps that are adjustable for a wide range of sizes
I’m very impressed with the craftsmanship at this cost
Its perfect for the young outdoor adventurer thrill seeker

My grandson got a four-wheeler for his birthday. So naturally, I felt that he needed protective gear to be able to ride. These fit him great. He loves the colors. Whenever he wants to ride, he comes running out with his gear already on and says let’s go. I recommend this product.

This is something that every child should get use to wearing from the start with motocross or ATV. . Believe me it has saved a lot of extra expense in medical. Made of strong material and the kids will like the idea of looking sporty. The piece s are adjustable for ages 4-10. Christmas around the corner.
