Have a ride1up V2 Roadster, left forward connecting rod cannot be installed because the brake caliper sits directly behind the mounting location. If the rod were a different shape or bendable it could be made to work. Additionally, the supplied screw that connects the bottom strut to the bicycle frame is too short, only 1 mm of thread sticks out beyond the hole in the bike frame making it impossible to put a nut on it. Otherwise sturdy construction.

I am a bike commuter and so have heavy duty front and rear racks on my bicycle already. My son wanted to have a rear rack too so if we go places he can also help bring groceries or other things home. I cannot say if this can hold 220 lbs as his bike is limited to 250 lbs and he is 125 lbs. That said it defiantly holds a couple bags of groceries in a milk crate just fine.

My only complaint s the screws are not labeled or in individual packs, and the instructions are unclear on which screws are used where. I am handy and have build a lot of bikes so I could figure it out, and given time you also probably can but it would be nice if the instructions were better.

Bought this for my brother to place his duffle on top with some bungee cords. Took us 15 minutes to put together and set up, but it is *slightly* tilting down because it hits the back of his seat ever so slightly, but not tilted enough to make a big difference (unless you’re planning to hold some liquids on top).

the weldment fittings at bottom were attached crooked and left the mounting bolts in a stressed position. I had to twist the rack to get the threads to mate up. Sure hope the bolts don’t give way to stress when I am out and away. Decided to give it a try anyway

Instructions are not concise. Lining up the bottom support to the bike can be tricky.

This bike rack is easy to install and the instructions are very straightforward. It doesn’t come with the things needed for mounting it. And It does have a piece on the bottom that sticks out a little further than I’d like. It does seem to be pretty sturdy and durable. Overall it has the potential to be a decent bike rack.

This is a well made and study bike rack, capable of securely holding just about as much weight as you’d ever want to put on the back of a bike. Installation is simple and it provides a rock solid platform once installed. Overall, a great value at the price point. Highly recommend.
