So it’s a little bit too cold to ride right now, so I wore these around the house for a few hours, did some work, played with the dogs, etc. First thing I have to say is, comfy… way comfy. Unlike my other pairs of biking shorts/pants, these are well padded but not enough to be uncomfortable walking. My other pairs are designed for someone with a 3 to 4 inch gap between their thighs or something, while these are designed for normal women. The material is also super thin and breathable, but somehow still less see through than my others. Now for the final part, I’ve always been super nervous about wearing tight clothing while riding because they love to fold down on me, (I’m a bit lacking in the meat department around my waist and thighs, unfortunately). With the suspenders, that’s a thing of the past. First impressions are that they are thin and lightweight, but they really do hold their own. They look double layered and the stitching is completely across with gussets on both ends. They definitely look like they are quality. Last thing about the build quality, my 6.7 inch phone with case actually fits in the lone pocket, and it doesn’t look like it’ll come out. That’s amazing given what I’ve seen from other companies.

When I go for a ride on the next warm day, Ill update this for the pad review. Just wearing them around I can tell that they are a little thinner, but cover more of my tailbone than my other pairs. There is also way less show through the pants. From the front I cant even tell there are pads, but I feel them there, so that’s a good thing.

This is my first pair of bib pants. I’m so frustrated by most bike clothing companies, making it impossible to cover your full leg when riding. Your skin is the largest organ on your body and I’m constantly struggling to find sun-protective clothing for regular rides. But I digress! These will definitely provide sun protection for my legs, and the padding is better than any of my bike shorts. The little suspender things take a bit of getting used to but once I did I like them a lot because they keep the pants from sliding down. You can’t even see them under a shirt. I am 5′ 7″ tall and the pants are too long for me, but since they’re not compression I can comfortably bunch them up at the ankle. These fit fine per the size chart – hooray for making sizes that fit real women! I almost docked a star for the weird logo on the leg – I hate that so much – but since they made a pair of bike pants that fit real women I decided to let it go. I would order these again and wish they were available in summer-appropriate colors; I would like UPF 50 bib tights that won’t boil in the sun but will still cover my legs.
