Just got a new Commuter E-bike and needed a newer helmet that is comfortable for long distances, is safe for speeds up to 28mph, and has lights for night riding as well as day rides. I saw many and chose this ILM helmet for several reasons. Comes with a nice wide visor that can be retracted when not needed and is good for shading daylight sun and well as blocking the wind on my face. The helmet itself is extremely comfortable and when adjusted just right is a snug fit good for securing to your head in case of a spill or fall. The lights are simple and functional for getting people’s attention to your presence. The price was reasonable for its build quality and features. Just the right amount of tech to avoid glitches that come with over engineered/featured helmets that are high priced and difficult to keep working without failures. I will be looking at getting more helmets from ILM for different seasons so I can ride all year long on my bike. Thanks ILM for making such a good product!

ILM makes excellent high grade bike helmets! The Visor is life changing and has kept the rain and bugs out of my eyesight. If you are riding at high speed, the bugs splat and this has kept my prescription glasses pristine as I don’t have to constantly clean them, only the visor. This helmet has saved my life when an E-Bike came around a blind corner at high speed and crashed into me. So, I highly recommend this helmet and will be ordering another one!

I’ve been using the ILM Adult Bike Helmet for about six trips now, and overall, it has proven to be a solid, dependable choice for the price. One of the standout features is its emphasis on safety. The ventilation system is well-designed, with multiple strategically placed air vents that help keep your head cool, even on long rides. Compared to other helmets in its price range, like the Schwinn Thrasher or the Giro Register, the ILM helmet does a better job of maintaining airflow, making it a more comfortable choice in warmer weather.
Comfort and fit are also strong points for the ILM Adult Bike Helmet. It includes a detachable visor and an adjustable dial at the back, ensuring a snug and personalized fit. The soft chin strap adds to the overall comfort, especially on longer rides where a poorly designed strap can become irritating. I found the inner padding to be soft yet breathable, providing a nice balance between comfort and functionality. Moreover, this helmet is quite stylish, with a sleek, modern design and multiple color options, which is a nice touch. In terms of value, the ILM helmet offers a lot of features for its price, coming in slightly cheaper than some of the more well-known brands like Bell or Giro without sacrificing much in terms of quality or safety.

Superb helmet for the money. Very comfortable and light but (with the chin strap properly adjusted) it also feels very safe with great head coverage. The visor is a brilliant addition and makes you wonder why more bicycle helmets don’t have them. Firstly no need for uncomfortable sunglasses anymore and going fast down hill it stops bugs hitting your face. Also great protection against stones kicked up from vehicles. Finally if you do come off and your visor is down it will certainly help protect your face, to what extent I am not sure but it will make a difference. The rechargeable lights are also fab. I get what others are saying about just white at the front or two reds (front and back) but am not too bothered about that TBH and there are ways around it. The other bonus is that it looks great. Highly recommended.

The helmet arrived undamaged and in working order. The visor is great and fits over my prescription glasses. I take a L/XL hat so I ordered the large size helmet and it fits perfect plus is adjustable. The lights work as advertised but the only issue is, is when the rechargeable battery eventually needs to be replaced there is no way to replace them without tearing out the foam inner liner leaving the helmet useless at that point. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.

L’éclairage peut être allumer en blanc et arrière mais uniquement en rouge avec un mode clignotant possible. L’éclairage peut recharger par usb ce qui est vraiment très pratique.
