I recently purchased the Ibera Bicycle Lightweight Aluminum Water Bottle Cage, and it has exceeded all my expectations. Giving it a 5/5 stars without hesitation. The lightweight design does not add any noticeable weight to my bike, which is essential for long rides. The aluminum construction promises durability and has held up well against the wear and tear of daily use. It’s also incredibly easy to install and fits a variety of bottle sizes, ensuring that I stay hydrated on the go without any hassle. Highly recommended for any cycling enthusiast looking for a reliable and stylish water bottle cage.

This product is sturdy, light and strong. Holds my podium waterbottle perfectly. It comes with Allen key bolts, which I didnt use, as I have had parts stripped off my bike when left with simple allen key bolts before. I had some torqx screws at home which I used. This product is great and for 12$ it cant be beat. The bike store up the street from me sells similar ones for up to 69.99$ which is insanity. Happy riding!

Not much to complain about, lol. So far, these are working great! No bending, chipping, or excessive wear. Have used many bottle shapes in it – all fine. Design is great – easy to remove/put in bottle (plus it looks cool). The cage does rub against the bottles over time – slightly scratches bottles, but I don’t mind. You could sand or tape the contact surfaces.
It is lightweight and relatively strong (for the material amount). Several friends got the same cage and like it as well. It holds bottles.
I would recommend using LocTite on the screws – the screws can loosen over time
UPDATE: June, 2023
Still going strong, no problems. Have gone through tons of rain, dust, mud, etc

Very happy with these cages. The aluminum is light and strong. The matte black finish goes perfectly with my matte black bike frames but they’d go with any paint color. The throat is sized perfectly for standard size bottles. I bought these cages to replace some plastic cages that were overly snug and made inserting the bottles somewhat difficult. Wit these new Ibera cages, bottle insertion is easy and retention is strong. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

I bought this 5 days before my first triathlon, the Santa Cruz half Ironman. Along with new saddle cage holder, aero-bars and a top-tube pouch, I was violating the first rule of racing: Do not try anything new on race day.
The bottle cages worked great. I had an oversized Camelback, insulated water bottle and a typical, cheaper plastic cycling bottle branded by Pearl Izumi. It held both of them great. The free Arrowhead sports bottles of water they gave out along the course didn’t work out so great. They were a bit too small and one bounced out when I hit some shoulder indicator bumps on the road. This isn’t the fault of the bottle cage, unless there are some out there that can adjust from the large camelback insulated ones all the way down to a narrow sports bottle size.
Another issue that came up was a screw came on one of the bottle cages. Again, not the problem of the bottle cage, but thought I would mention it to warn others to tighten their screws properly if not put some Loctite thread lock on it too (don’t over tighten or you’ll strip the cage holder’s threads). Luckily, I kept the down tube cage still attached as a spare and was able to use it.
As far as the race went, the bike went great but I paid for it on the run. I know next time to make the bike about 10 minutes slower so I can drop 40 minutes off the run!

I’ll be honest, the silver color matched my bike and that was a factor in my decision to buy this. Oddly, there aren’t a lot of silver colored water bottle holders out there other than the old-school wire ones. I do a lot of road biking, but I recently picked up a city bike for riding around town (Trek FX 7.5). Weight isn’t much of a factor, but I noticed this was surprisingly light. My biggest observation is that the aluminum is robust and sturdy. I expect it will be quite durable and I won’t have to worry about it while my bike is locked in a public bike rack. It’s certainly more sturdy than the plastic ones I have on my higher end road bikes. I like the design. Looks good and functionally it’s easy to get the bottle in and out. Other than that, works like any water bottle holder.
Make sure your water bottle has a nice flat bottom (most do). The flat bottom allows it to catch the bottom of the water bottle cage/holder. You’ll see in the photo the “L” shaped piece at the bottom. That stops the water bottle from sliding through. Some water bottles have a taper at the bottom (those made by Clean Bottle where both ends unscrew for cleaning). The tapered ones don’t catch as well and I’ve had water bottles fall through while riding. I’ve since thrown them away, which is a shame because they cost 3x as much. This observation is not unique to this design. Many others have the same design and have issues with water bottles having tapered bottoms. …just something to be aware of.

I bought these as a replacement for some cheapo cages that always felt like they were going to let my water bottles fly randomly off my bike, flinging themselves in to traffic, and causing a massive 20 car pile-up. When I got a set of large 32 ounce bottles for long rides, my need for a firm hold on a heavy bottle became even more important.
These cages are fantastic. They installed in seconds, using included screws. They look great, although I suppose looks are somewhat subjective. Most importantly, they hold my giant water bottles nice and tight. In fact, I have to jam the bottle in pretty hard to get it seated properly… but I see that as a plus, there’s no way the bottle is going to slide out.
Overall, these are a good value, well made and highly recommended. Would buy again.

The downside is that they mark up the outside of the bottles. The plus side is that the are durable, ergonomic, and affordable.
