I currently own more than a half dozen hydration packs. Some are for me and I have some for my wife and my sons to use when hiking. I bought this one for my wife, since it is smaller and is more adjustable than the one that she was using, which was from military surplus. The hydration pack includes the bladder, hose, and bite valve. The hydration pack has two sturdy Velcro straps to hold the bladder in place, and that I really like. 2 liters of water weights a bit and keeping it in place is important. The pack has routing for the hose to exit through the top, and has a hose clip on the strap to keep the hose in place when active. Overall, the pack is adjustable to my wife’s needs, and I think she likes it. I do.

This backpack is very well made and comfortable to wear. The straps are easily adjustable to get a snug fit so it doesn’t bounce around or interfere with any of your movement. I wore it rollerblading and didn’t even notice it while I was wearing it. However, it was really nice to have water available when I needed it. I did not take anything else with me (my phone was in my pocket), but the backpack does have a mesh pocket and bungees so there’s room to carry a few extra things besides the water.
Overall, it seems like a very good value.

The first pack leaked around the hose/pouch coupler. The replacement works just fine with no leaks. The pack is narrow with padded straps. It’s comfortable to wear. It has a small pouch, but if the water I’d full, there’s no room to store anything in it but maybe a spare valve.

The pack itself is pretty feature filled. The sternum strap adjusts through a decent range, the drink tube can exit over either shoulder, and the drink tube tube clip can be easily relocated to either side as well. The waist strap rides high for me, but I’m a bit portly, so thinner folks will probably find it more useful. The bright color (mine’s orange) is high visibility and welcome for dusk activities. The bladder hanger system is different than most I’ve used with two velcro hangers, one on each top corner of the bladder. The bladder and drink tube have a bit of a strong taste that I hope declines with time. The bite valve is round and works pretty well now, but I feel it may wear and leak a bit faster than other designs. Time will tell. The overall value seems really good for the cost.

I am not a cyclist or extreme sport enthusiast in any way, but my wife and I like to go hiking in the desert where we live, and in the mountains. We always carry a lot of water and I finally decided that we needed a hydration backpack for our hikes. It’s a lot easier to carry our water this way, and we can carry more water this way than in our standard water bottles.
This is, so far, a fabulous hydration backpack. It is quiet comfortable and very easy to use (I’ve never used one before).
I had to do a little research in how to clean the bladder, but it’s quite straight-forward.
it’s crazy how easy this is to use and how comfortable it is to wear. I only regret that I didn’t get one of these years ago. This isn’t just for cyclists, but anyone who needs or wants to carry potable water for a few hours.

This is such a nice hydration pack. The backpack portion fit well and was easy to adjust, while providing comfort with the padded straps, and support across your chest. I also liked that there’s reflective material in the straps, which is a great safety feature for those who might jog or ride bicycle in the early mornings or evening hours. The bladder fits 2 liters of water, which is the perfect water capacity for my use. Not only did the bladder keep my water nice and cold, but it didn’t make the water taste all plasticy. I have owned several of these hydration packs in the past, and generally as the water sits in the pack, it seems to pick up that plastic taste, but that has not been my experience with this item. I really can’t say anything negative about this hydration pack. It works great, fits great, looks great, and at a $25 price point, you are getting a quality item, minus the name brand Camelbak prices. I would 100% order it again. A+

The fit and feel of this hydration pack is great. The mouth piece is especially easy to use and I love that the cap covers it from dirt and the like. The only issue I have on this is the well at the bottom of the bag below where the hose attaches. It means that there’s a decent amount of water that you can’t get through the hose. It also means there a decent amount of water that’s really hard to get out for cleaning/drying purposes, too.
