This is a really great bicycle bell. It is sleek and nearly invisible, but oh so cool looking. Wikipedia states: “The bicycle bell was invented by John Richard Dedicoat, and patents for bicycle bells appear as early as 1877.” Can there be innovation 147 years later? Yes! — this one is so clever. It produces a tone equivalent in intensity to an ordinary bicycle bell but it is so much more elegant. If I had to call out one negative, it would be that you need to flick the actuator that sits on a tiny spring in just the right way to get the maximum volume and clarity. If you are off slightly, the ring will be soft and flat. If this happens, you ring the bell again. This issue wasn’t a sufficient concern to dock a star. The Hidden Conch Bicycle Bell. Very sleek, low profile. Expect long usage! My handlebar (on a Trek 2) is thicker than average, but it still fit! 👍

It was a bit more orange/amber than yellow. I was going to return it but they said to keep it. The bell is nice, loud and good quality tho.
