Because it’s jersey it does expand so it gets stretched around your thighs. I must say it is a comfortable material.

These bike shorts are great for exercising as they are cotton and let your skin breathe. They fit well and are well made. I’m an AU 10 and the small fits perfectly.

Great soft, stretchy spandex shorts and not see thru like many others are when u bend over etc!! Bought 3 pairs and just wish they came in assorted colors other than black and grey!!! I’d buy alot more that’s for sure. Wash great! I bought XXL thinking I need them so bad and didn’t wanna chance having to return them n wair for replacements. I should have just gone w XL or even Lg woulda fit me I think but be a lil snugger than I’d like. Made me feel good having them too big tho haha! So order your regular size and u should be ok. Fit as expected. I just ordered size too big but didn’t bother returning as I really needed them lol.
I am sadly 238 lbs but not for much longer lol, 5 ft 5. Hope this helps someone out!

It’s exactly what I wanted. I wanted comfortable cotton sleep shorts and these are perfect for that. The fit is great on me (5’6″ 158 lbs.). These are not compression shorts or tummy control, so don’t expect that. The elastic waist is not binding. The leg openings are not loose, but not binding either – just right for my needs. The material is cotton – it wasn’t thin or see-through like some of the reviewers, maybe I was lucky? Very comfortable, very happy with purchase especially at the price. The length is shorter than pictured, but I didn’t mind that. They could be worn under a skirt, but they would be a little thick for that I think. You could work out in them, but just be aware they are a midweight cotton blend, so they don’t have wicking, and they don’t have compression.. So if you’re looking for compression, get something else. If you’re looking for wicking, get something else. But if you want a comfortable cotton “bike short” style short, here you go! Thanks, Hanes! I like them.

es de muy buena calidad, no se transparenta nada, solo que viene un poco mas grande, si se quiere que quede como una licra ajustada no es es el indicado, pero si se quiere un short cómodo para ejercitarse es totalmente recomendado, volvería a comprarlo sin problema

These are the perfect short. I use them for working out, walks,Lounging, and Under skirts/dresses. Very versatile. I have no issue with rolling up or down and I was able to wear several older pair until my third trimester of pregnancy without sizing up. I have both the high rise and mid rise short, I prefer mid rise fit overall as I don’t like compression in my tummy area. The material washes well but with lots of wear/washing the material does thin over time. Overall still think these shorts are worth the cost. 5’4″, about 170, curvy/athletic build. Large fits comfortably, XL for a looser fit on bloated/puffy days.

All my thick thigh ladies! All my weight in the middle ladies! All my I need compression ladies! If you’re around 5’7″ and around 190-200lb hear me out. I have bought a size XL, L, and yes a M. All in my quest to give some compression, to not ride up my legs, and still be comfortable (as cotton should be). As far as the color I have both Black and Gray. They both fade in the dryer so do not buy for a lovely dark color. It’s not happening. My experience : XL was somewhat loose around thighs and waist, and rode up my thighs, but they provided coverage across lower stomach, and were a dream to wear around the house (even after eating or sleeping in them). Large size provided me the same effects plus highlighted curves , but I still needed compression and to not ride up when I wore them outside the house. A size Medium did just that: stomach and thigh compression, minimal ride up, and highlighted curves. But, to sleep in a Medium? Uncomfortable. To expect lower stomach coverage without rolling down during day? Not a chance. To each her/his own though. For me, at this price point, different sizes suited different needs for me. At the end of all washing and drying cycles, they all faded, shrunk a little, but retained shape well, and were same leg length. These are my go to pajama shorts, my let me check the mail shorts, my one trip to get some groceries shorts, and my under dresses/no chafing shorts. I’d recommend these for sure.

Every thing is good for me, end up purchased two more pairs. The purpose I bought this short is to pair them with my “retired” t-shirts to be my pajama set. I think most of people knows that the biggest unsustainable issue for fashion industry is waste. I know it is nothing big but just want to do something little good: keep old t-shirt and pair a shorts with it, so I don’t need to buy new pajamas sets, and not waste old T shirts ( most of my T-shirt are pretty new and made with cotton so very comfortable) a great pajama set for summer.
Stretchability: good.
Fit: good and true to size. I am 5’4”, 142LB, M should be fit very well for me, but I bought L in purpose: since I am wearing it as pajama pants, I want it to be little bit more loose fit (not loose, only not that tight to body as M) because it will be more comfortable. ( I am not wearing it outside the house)
Color: the color of this short is not exactly black, this is not bothering me because it is my pajama. Just point out for other who might cares. As my picture shows, the fabric on the bottom is my t shirt which is regular shade of black, the one on the top is the color of this shorts, kind super dark grayish black.
The title of this short is bike shirt, to be honest I won’t wear it for biking or exercise (for yoga might be ok), Because the material of this short is mainly cotton. Cotton is comfortable natural fiber with good absorbency, but kind poor abrasion resistance ability. Biking or exercise need fabrics that made with better abrasion fibers, so that pants can have longer life.
Overall, for it’s price point, it dose it’s job and worth of it value.

Nice bacic cotton bike shorts – extactly what I was looking for in that respect. The sizing is quite off. I got myself an extra large and my eldest kiddo a small based on the size chart. My pair was a bit too big but this is fine. The teenager’s were hilariously too small when they should have fitted with a bit of ease based on the size chart. Kept mine and returned the kiddos.
