I’m sweat a lot when mountain biking. These really help to channel the sweat away from my eyes. I was worried this would be a gimmick product, but I liked the first one so much I hour 3 more.

Got this as weather and humidity heated up for riding my bike. It worked great, but I thought the wind was helping out. Thankfully I grabbed it for a hundred mile hike I did Memorial Day week. The temps were just above 90 with high humidity all week. We got to the start of the trail 3:30 first day and I couldn’t remember where I put my headband. We hiked 5 hours, with sweat pouring in my eyes and all over my sunglasses. I finally gave up and took off my shades because the sweat had made them unbearable to look thru. When we got to our first camp site and got set up, I found my headband where I had put it. For easy access, of course. Over the next 6 days and 90 miles I never had sweat in my eyes again. My face had sweat, of course, but it was not from my noggin running down into my eyes along the way. I wore it just above my eyebrows, and often forgot it was on.
I am going to get another just to leave in my pack, and put another in my list so I can use it during yard work. Try it. If it only works half as good for you it is worth it.

It’s a headband, but with a trick up its sleeve. Sure, you could use a normal headband. But once it’s soaked, where does the sweat go? Usually into your eyes and face. The Halo’s built in silicone gutter channels sweat away – even after the band itself is soaked! That’s its simple yet effective superpower. It’s also very thin so it fits well under a helmet. When very hot, it can be a little uncomfortable during extended wear because your forehead doesn’t breath as much, but that’s a compromise I can live with to avoid sweat in my eyes while riding.

The headband is fantastic and keeps sweat from dripping all over my glasses when I am working outside. The only problem I am having with it is that it is a little too big for me. I am a petite woman, and it doesn’t fit very well. It keeps sliding up and down my forehead. Works well, I just wish it were a little more snug.

Little yellow rubberband built in to this headband does the trick. Really awesome and effective. Tested it two days on my 2 mile dog walk in hot Florida. No more sweat in my eyes from my bald head. Really love the look. If you have sweat getting in your eyes You need this! Trust me.

I purchased these headbands with the hope that they keep sweat out of my eyes. I volunteer with the Florida Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Teams. Over the last 10 days I’ve been in Houston, Texas chainsawing huge trees off of people’s homes as a result of hurricane Beryl. The headbands kept the flow of perspiration out of my eyes and allowed me to make my cuts safely. They are very comfortable and can be hand washed in the sink. I plan on purchasing more. Hopefully I can find them in bright yellow!!

    *Good quality sweatbands.
    *Washes well.
    *Good grip.
*Works with chin-length or longer hair worn as a headband.
*Does not ride up in the back and stays put even with shorter hair.
*Pulls back hair snuggly around the entire hairline, top, back, and sides.
*Does what it’s supposed to do.

When new I would probably give the Halo 4-5 stars. In general, it does a good job. But considering the price, I have issues with the lack of durability. The glue holding the silicon strip to the band does not hold up. I have been through probably six of these bands. At most I have had a band last 12-14 months before it comes apart. For the price, I think it should hold up longer. As far as how often I use it, I generally have two bands on hand and use each one twice per week when outdoor temp is above 60 degrees outside. So probably 9 months out of the year. I do throw it in the wash after using, but only in cold water and do NOT throw them in the dryer.
Once the silicon strip comes off completely, then the remaining glue on the band makes it very uncomfortable to wear. In a pinch, I have found that it is usable it you turn it inside out.
I use it for mountain biking, so I wear it under a helmet. For that purpose, I much prefer the narrow band vs. the wider option. The wider one can be uncomfortable wearing for any length of time under a helmet. I did find a work around by moving the band further up on my forehead. But I also had to loosen the helmet band for it to fit comfortably.
An intact band does a good job for the first hour or so of a ride. But for a really long ride, 90+ minutes, I have been able to oversaturate the band to the point sweat finds its way around. But this is probably going to be true for any headband. Probably need to carry an extra one in the pack for this reason.
