I have previously owner a cheap off market camera and also GoPro Black 7 and must say this version definitely delivers astonishing improvements, the image stabilizers, the quality of build and most importantly the quality of videos and images is insane. I brought thing on a hiking trip, skiing holiday, went snorkeling with it and it delivered with amazing and crisp images and smooth video quality in all cases.
I would also highly recommend investing in a faster SD memory card (at least Sandisk Extreme Pro) to make sure there’s no lag and delay between shooting and saving 4k videos.

The GoPro HERO11 Black is exceptional for dashboard recording and filming in rain, meeting all my needs. Image quality is superb, with excellent stabilization. It performs admirably in challenging conditions, making it perfect for outdoor adventures and driving documentation.
The only drawback is its tendency to overheat during extended use. However, I’ve found a solution I’m excited to test soon.
Despite this issue, the HERO11 Black’s overall performance, versatility, and durability make it a worthy investment for both casual users and enthusiasts. If you need a reliable action camera for various environments, this is an excellent choice – just be prepared to manage potential overheating.

i have had a gopro hero 5 black for over 10 years. never once overheated. i have had the new hero 11 black and it has overheated three times within 5 uses, all within the first 15 minutes. lost all the video i was shooting each time as i did not know the camera stopped. use was in varied conditions. yes it is summer. but if you cant use your camera in the shade for over 10 – 15 minutes before shutoff, it is worthless. it also overheated using outside at night. camera is junk!!!
also you have to upgrade the codex on your computer before you can even watch a video. and you have to pay for it. only then you find your computer wont run this codex and you have to go buy a more expensive computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant stress enough, love my hero 5 black…but DO NOT BUY THE HERO 11 BLACK…JUNK… shame gopro

I’m running into a lot of issues, as someone who typically runs GoPros for long periods of time with high storage. If you run it dead, it does not start right up when you plug it in. It takes a few minutes to get it to turn on. If you want to take video and charge at the same time, you will not add any charge to it. It only truly adds charge when it’s turned off.
You also have to remove the side of the go pro to charge it. Bought the telsin water resistent charging door. Most cable don’t seem to fit well with it….. I preffered the design of my Gopro 5 where the side door that came off to charge was not the same one that the battery and SD card were in. I feel like my battery is going to fall out when I take the side door off to charge.
Picky I guess, but I’ve ran a GoPro 5 for a long time and this was the first upgrade. Video is great, but trying to charge it is a headache.

Make sure to buy a screen protector. Ours was in a case and the screen broke on it. There is so many perks to buy this, the picture quality is so good.

Nothing wrong with the GoPro camera itself, but I paid the extra for an included SD card and the vendor included a SD card that is too slow for use in the camera. Now I need to get a compatible card before I can use the camera, and I paid extra for a useless SD card that I have no use for.
Edited: The seller contacted me and resolved the issue of the included SD card not being fast enough for the camera. The camera itself is great, it’s unfortunate that the battery life isn’t longer, but extra batteries aren’t too expensive, and they are easy to swap. I wish that GoPro would release the promised Quik for Windows software; I’m still looking for simple and affordable editing software.
