Great product in an easy to use applicator bottle. First time trying this ceramic lube from Finish Line. I have used this on my gravel and mountain bike.

I really like this wax. It works great keeping my chain running smooth and quiet. I’ve used it exclusively for months now and the quality is very good. My only complaint is that I’ve found that I need to constantly lube the chain. With other lubes I’ve used once every couple of rides was good to keep things nice and smooth. With this wax I have found that I need to apply before every single ride. This is most likely just a function of using wax over a different type of lube but it is definitely worth noting.

For application I’ve found that the earlier you put it on prior to riding the better. I typically try to apply the wax the night before I am going to ride. In addition you don’t really need to wipe anything off after applying it to the chain (this is has just been my experience and preference with this product). I don’t think that this is a good solution for every rider, for me it is great and I like the way it works and don’t mind the frequent application. I know a lot of people have a strong preference for different types of lubes, but this is worth checking out. One last note, prior to the first application I would give the chain and drive train a VERY extensive cleaning. If you don’t you’ll likely get a black waxy buildup which will gum up the works a bit.

Sono già alla terza botticina che acquisto per la mia bdc e sono sempre soddisfatto, consiglio di conservarlo in un luogo all’ombra e un po’ più freddo soprattutto durante il periodo estivo

Excellent lube! A small amount is sufficient for lubrication. It lasts a long time, I used it all last summer and didn’t even use half of it. The chain looks clean and does not stain clothes.

I’ve used this lube for about three years now and I haven’t had to install a new chain since. As long as you don’t ride your bike in the rain the chain stays lubed and picks up very little dirt to wear it out. I ride a lot (100 mi. a week in summer) and I have seen no wear on my chain. You have to clean all the oil out of the chain with some kind of solvent and let it dry before applying to even a new chain. I used mineral spirits. I was greatly surprised when I checked the chain for wear after one summer of riding. No wear!! I was replacing the chain every year with other lubes. I wipe the chain with a rag and re-apply about 3 times a year. If you get your chain wet though ,you’ll have to re-apply it before your next ride. Great stuff!!!

Very light oil. Doesn’t attract dirt, and things that muck up the drivetrain, robbing power and joy from your ride.

Let me state right up front that I have not actually used this product yet and I do not typically take time to submit a review. I do a lot of research before purchasing, tend to buy well established products from reputable sources, and rarely have a compelling reason to share the experience or otherwise advise fellow consumers. An experience I had today with calling into Finish Line with a customer service inquiry, however, compels me to share the experience. Finish Line Ceramic WAX Bicycle Chain Lube was my first purchase from Finish Line. We aren’t talking about a lot of cash here, but it’s a good faith purchase. When I received the product from Amazon I did not pay much attention to it. The biking season is still weeks away where I live and the product sat on my kitchen counter for the last several days where I unboxed it. Today I decided to take it out to garage and stash it with my soon to be used “bike stuff.” The plastic bottle is clear and you can see the contents. I noticed that there was a solid white area at the bottom of the container with clear fluid on top of it and just shook the bottle a bit to see how it dispersed. The liquid turned a solid milky color, but what really caught my attention was that I really felt the shaking as you would feel with a partially empty container. This caused me to really pay attention and eyeball the fluid in the container, finding it was only about 70% full, about up to the ruled line above “FINISH LINE” below the checkered flag artwork. This was odd to say the least. I thought back to when I unboxed the product and certainly did not recall any evidence of leakage. I double checked that the source Amazon Prime stated on my order was actually Finish Line, not some third party. Now I’m used to getting bags of potato chips and cereal much less than full due to “product settling.” Fluid products don’t settle and I don’t recall ever getting a bottle of ketchup 70% full. I initially considered returning the product to Amazon, but then saw a phone number to call on the label. I called the number and got into a fairly standard phone robot front end telling me to listen to the entire message as the menu had changed. There were only 3 choices, all involving getting in contact with someone you already knew at the company, not departments, no order checking, no customer service option, etc. I did what I normally do and hit “O” for operator during the phone robots speech and was switched to a receptionist. The lady who answered the call seemed very nice and I asked for customer service. She inquired what my need was and I told her that I had just made my first purchase of a Finish Line product and the container was not full. She immediately transferred me to a guy who seemed really sharp, actually interested, and it only took seconds to explain that I was a new customer and had a new purchase only 70% full. He immediately offered to send me a new product with no need to return the old product. I did not have to provide proof of purchase nor was I subjected to any kind of questioning. We had a nice chat about the product, bike lubrication, and other products I was interested in. I gave him my name and address and we were done. I fully expect to receive the courtesy replacement product and that the partially full product is entirely usable. I will update here accordingly. This “no questions asked” instant assessment and servicing of my inquiry was truly impressive and I shall remain a Finish Line customer for as long as I ride.

    Goes on like water.
    Not sure it sticks on.
Or if it’s actually doing anything.
    It seems to work.
But you don’t see it working.
    So I’m just not sure.

nice lube and it seems to keep the chain lubed and not to terribly dirty if you accidentally contact the chain

Prior to this my favorite chain lube was C3 Ceramic from Muc-Off. It works wonders, but like all wet lubes, it tends to attract dirt and grime, necessitating frequent chain cleaning (and leaving that annoying chain tattoo on your right calf – you know the one!). I had been reading about the advantages of wax-based lubes so I decided to give this ceramic lube a try.

I’m a pretty serious road cyclist so I went all-in and cleaned my chain and cassette with an ultrasonic cleaner and Muc-Off drivetrain cleaner (the yellow-green one is great!), then again with hot water to get all the cleaner off, then applied the Finish Line wax and let it dry. Twice.

I went cycling the next day and was surprised at the dry feel of the chain, the complete lack of chain noise, and the number of PRs that I sent on Strava segments that I’ve ridden literally 100+ times. I’ve been using Finish Line ceramic wax for several weeks now and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to a non-wax chain lube. My drivetrain stays much cleaner now and the slight performance gain is undeniable, as proven by my Strava numbers. This particular one is also quite affordable, compared to UFO, Silca and other brands that are essentially the same but cost 4X more. Give this lube a try!

If you have vinyl floor planks in your house, this is a must buy. I was a little skeptical. But a few drops in between those squeaky floorboards, and all is quiet. It’s worth every penny.

Es la primera vez que adquiero este tipo de aceite para la cadena y no me arrepiento, se mantiene lubricada y limpia. Cumple bien. Muy recomendable
