I got a free recumbent exercise bike from the 80’s out of work’s dumpster. For the most part everything on it worked great, just a cracked LCD screen. I noticed after using it for a few weeks that the one pedal crank was loose. It’s a cotter pin style crank, and the threads on what appear to be the original pin are stripped with a nylon lock nut on it. These parts were closest the the measurements of the original cotter pin on the bike, they fit perfect in the crank arm. The old pin being a bit chewed up and rough to slide in and out of the crank. The taper is at a different length in these pins, it appears the threads stick out a lot more than the stock pins, but it fit perfect and slid through the hole on the crank perfectly with no resistance. Very happy!!

Bought a few old tricycles for the kids to ride around, and they had these crazy old slanted keys to keep the cranks on. Amazon had an 8 pack which was exactly what I needed, what luck! These are the right length, but the diameter was a good bit too big. I had to mill them down with a flap wheel on an angle grinder to get them to proper size.
Otherwise they fit well and are working fine so far
