I live in a caribean island and i go snorkeling a Lot and I have always been tempted to acquire an action camera but it’s always been a bit out of My budget But this one is great Quality for a decent price with all it’s gadgets and an extra battery, beware i bought the Dji divecase to be safer, for outdoors it comes with a Nice solid frame that protects córners and the camera body in general but your lens is always exposed to falls, always be careful not to scratch your lens, other than that it seems very resistant to scratches and maybe it can manage a few falls but i’m not testing that, better take care of it so small fragile components inside don’t get damaged.
Very satisfied with it’s recording Quality, Even though water was a bit opaque but it impressed me so much, You can do slomotion at 1080 x8, or You could do as much as 4k 120fps! And then You can edit some neat slomotion fragments with great Quality, the Dji mimo app is very versatile and user friendly, takes a bit of practice to do some decent editing but for begginers it’s awesome.
Only thing i noticed right away is it gets hot too fast im not sure if that is a normal feature

気軽に胸ポケットに入れて、さっと取り出して、広角の写真を取れるのはいいですね。
寧ろ、動画もいいですが、こっちもいいです。
ただ、接写の性能は高くないので、あくまでも風景向きかな、と。
スマホでいいじゃんっていう思いもなくはないですが
動画の画質は4K60FPSでものすごく綺麗！
とまではいきませんが、許容範囲と思えるくらいの画質です。
画質を2.7Kに落として撮影しても大きくは劣化を感じませんし、十分実用的かと思います。
逆に4Kにしたことにより、飛躍的に画質がよくなるという訳でもないという感覚です。
暗所性能はノイズが乗るので、こちらに関しては、最新型の4の方がいいかもしれません。
5の足音も近いようなので、5が出てから4を狙うというのも一つの選択肢かもしれませんね。
難点として、リュックマウントは左右の調整が効かないため、どうしても外側を向いてしまったりするので、少し使いにくいかもしれません。
アクションカメラ入門編としては安定性、値段と画質のバランスがほど良く、使いやすさの点から見てもお勧めしやすい機種です。
ただ、本来はアクションカメラなので、Osmo Pocketシリーズのような単体で完結できるようなVlogカメラとは少し違い、どこかにくっつけて両手を開けてアクティビティに使うのが本来の使い方で、単体だとアクションカメラの真髄は発揮できません。
よって、何かしらのマウントなどの出費は基本的に必要になるかと思いますので、そこは留意が必要かと思います。

I have the Osmo 2 and was mostly satisfied with it. The Omso 3 is even better. It is a bigger form factor, but the improvements are worth the size increase. I took it on our hiking trip in the Rocky Mountains; it captured the raw beauty of the landscape. The biggest issue I have (and it was also on the Osmo 2) is when you change batteries the camera settings change to some default setting, therefore, you have to change the camera back to whatever setting you were previously using. Otherwise you’ll think you’re videoing and it’ll be in time lapse mode (Osmo 2) or picture mode (Osmo 3). But the video performance is amazing, great image stabilization, excellent frame rate options. It’s high bang for buck, GoPro Hero performance for about half the cost. Would recommend to anyone.

This is amazing. Well! DJI products are all that way. Very well made and easy to understand the instructions. I was up and taking videos within 20 min. I was also using the DJI external mic. Super nice recording and video quality. Highly recommended buy the 3 or the 4.

Honestly think this camera in itself is great and if you’re between getting this or the Osmo 4, I’d say even this one is a great choice still. It’s a bit hard to upload your videos to your phone (turn off your wifi and only keep Bluetooth on), and depending on your file size it takes a bit of time to upload, but the video quality is amazing despite it all!
I use this for biking and the rocksteady does such a great job. I also love the wide lens view. The voice control comes in very handy and the chest strap is way better than any of the third party ones you can buy. I tested it against a third party one my friend bought on Amazon and the branded one and the branded one won by a landslide with how stable it keeps the camera, ease of taking on and off, and comfort. Overall love this camera, it’s built like a brick and can’t be broken, and takes amazing vids and photos!

I purchased this camera to use while I ride and track stats. For the price, I initially thought it was worth it. Upon arrival and testing, I found out it does not have GPS. Additionally, the GPS bluetooth remote for the OSMO Action 4, does NOT work with the Osmo Action 3, and oh by the way, it’s almost impossible to find that bit of information out unless you do numerous searches with obscure phrases to get the answer. It’s almost like they do not want you to know that you are paying a premium price for an action camera that has NO GPS. The Akaso is 1/2 the price. Yes it does not have GPS either, but if you don’t need GPS, the Akaso is cheaper and quality. If you need an action camera with GPS get a gopro 10. Especially if you want GPS. Very dissapointed.

This product is insaneee, i was kind of scared to order it in the first place in fear of me bring scammed (even though it’s literally THE DJI store itself) but I WASN’T!!! I have all the things that the pictures have and my camera is currently charging💕

-please note that when u get it, it may seem like it has the same quality as an iphone, BUT, also note that u can change the ISO which then makes the video quality even better!!!
-Accessories are complete
-Size is so compact
-image stabilization is stunning (u can turn it off)

Being a couple generations behind, this little guy can be had for much less. I’ve used it as a dashcam, backpacking, biking and snorkeling without problems. It’s very durable. Only issue I have is the native format is finicky with playback on some computers, so just save your vids as regular mp4s and you’re good — they’ll take up a bit more space though.
