    Nochmal kaufen – nein.

This is an initial reaction review. The packaging is minimal. The user manual wants you to set tire size and time zone. The manual provides the tire size, but you really have to look for it. The manual does not list the time zone info. For US mountain time it was -7.00. there is no speaker. This sounds like it wouldn’t matter, but I like a beep when I turn it on or start my ride. I was able to sync my speed sensor etc. without issue. There was an initial firmware update. The display is pretty good and the backlight really helps. However, it doesn’t appear that the backlight is automatic. I couldn’t find a setting for that. The computer is not configurable with the app. All of the settings are done through the menu system. It reminds me of the computers previous to the gps versions. Also, there does not appear to be a way to update the odometer. I find that super annoying. I keep track of many things by the odometer. It did connect to gps very fast. I have yet to take it for a ride. I will update this if I decide to keep it. The data on the screen is not configurable. There are multiple pages for the data. However, the time and distance is on one of the pages and that’s all I care about until after the ride. The bottom section of the screen always shows power, heart, cadence. It was easy to sync and had no problem with syncing to Strava. The last thing is the buttons. They are not very tactile feeling and I couldn’t tell if I had pushed a button or not. Another reason it would be nice to have that beep when you push a button. I know this sounds picky, but I have had many computers over the years and I know what’s important to me. Your mileage may vary.

Update: The light does seem to stay on at night. During the day it does not. There must be some time element that it uses for that. Still unsure if I’m keeping it. I like the size, it locks on gps fast. Works fine with my gear.

    I returned it.

Like other have stated, the CYCPLUS M2 is an incredible little Bike GPS for the money. Highly recommend getting the mount as well.

GPS and MPH are extremely accurate and dead nuts with my Apple Watch/iPhone when comparing after a ride and during.

Love the circle design and also love not having to rely on having my phone with me. So many bike computers need your phone and this works completely independently.

I don’t have any issues with the buttons, would love to see something even more intuitive in a future M3 if possible. Love having an odometer as well and being able to see how far I ride each season.

Only Con would be the Temperature, it’s completely inaccurate and imo useless. Not a big deal it doesn’t really matter, but if it’s there it would be nice if it was at least accurate.

Can’t recommend this this thing enough, I’ve bought 3 more for friends and family.

For the first 14 minutes of my 30 minute commute to work the speed remained at zero.
It takes far too long to find a satellite signal, even on a clear day and not surrounded by high buildings. Even through the parks it stayed at zero.

The computer looks great and I really wanted it to work but I’m going back to a wheel sensor design again and sending this back.

Good points- this has the look and feel of a really high quality product. Amazing for this price level. I liked the round shape and the information was nicely organized. With sensor options and display screens, it can do all that I need it to do.
Negative point- The display is low contrast, and on a bright day it is very difficult to read. At night or in dim lighting, the backlight works great and it looks great. But I only ride during the day and I just could not read the display. So I returned it. Maybe a younger person with better eyes would find it acceptable. Certainly all the logged data is readable on your phone app. Attached picture shows the display in my sun room.

Great bang for the buck. I have own a couple of their products and am very happy. I wanted a simple to use bike computer without spending hundreds of dollars. I mainly look for mileage, speed and cadence. I use the XOSS app to get things setup. Was pretty quick. I use Wahoo speed and cadence sensors on my bike. I also run Strava on my phone. I compared the mileage and speed readings on the bike computer and strava – always pretty close. I love the new round design. My handlebar is getting busy with a light, phone mount & bike computer – so the round design helps. The back light is very helpful. It fits was compatible with my mount – so that was great. I am not using it to it’s full potential yet, but it was pretty easy to get started and get riding!

I bought this to replace the Cateye computer that failed after 10 years. I just wanted something simple, easy to read and accurate. This, for the most part, fits the bill. Setting this up was fairly easy, except the clock, the manual uses some rather bizarre terminology that was indicative of being translated from another language. Setting the clock (if that is important to you), requires you know the GMT time zone you are in. Other than that, everything else was straight forward. The screen is easy to read, both day and night, the GPS locks on in 15-30 seconds and is very accurate on the open road. However, if you’re like me and ride through heavily shaded bike trails, the GPS, like other GPS bike computers, has a lot of trouble maintaining a signal and provides inaccurate readings. Not really a deal breaker for me, just something to keep in mind if your ride where tall trees obscure the sky. Battery life seems to be good. I ride about an hour a day and it needs charged about every 5-6 days.

This is my first cycling computer and paired with a decent out-the-front mount with Garmin’s quick-attach, it has been perfect. I love that it is not some fancy LCD screen that is impossible to read with my polarized sunglasses on, and its just simple and easy to read. Also, while the App is kinda rough, it auto-syncs to Strava which has worked flawlessly. Take some time to read through the manual and make sure all the setting are where they need to be, and this will do what it needs to. I don’t think you can beat this for the price if you don’t want to deal with a wired unit. I would highly recommend.
