- ALL YOUR FAVORITE STATS: Displays current, max, and average speed, total distance, trip distance, elapsed time, calorie consumption, pace arrow, and clock.
- SAVE YOUR MILES: With the option to manually set the odometer, you don’t have to start over every time you change the battery.
- SECURE AND GO: With our FlexTight Bracket, you can easily mount, adjust, and move your computer by hand. Spend less time setting up your gear and more time on the road.

The band broke after two days now it dangles there and doesnt get a read from the sensor. Needs a better strap included.

Completely unusable and unstable mount. The ratchet system that was included does not hold the computer securely to my handlebars and I am not going to tape or glue to make a product work. Typically these mounts also have an option to use zip ties to make them more secure, but this one does not. I’m sure this cat eye computer is as good as all of their other products and this rating will bring down the average review but I feel this detail is important. I returned it.

This is the 3rd bike computer I’ve owned and the 2nd consecutive Cateye. I confess I switched to Cateye years ago because of the brand name.
This device keeps track of several functions, among them: current speed, maximum and average speeds on the ride, length of time on the ride, distance, time of day, and calories burned (an estimate, of course).
The enclosed instructions aren’t worthless. But they’re not as helpful as they should be. Setting the clock for the first time can be maddening.
SETTING THE CLOCK
After setting the tire size, press the menu button (the larger button on the back). The time of 1:00 will appear in the bottom half of the screen and simultaneously “24h” will flash on and off in the top half. To choose 24h/military timekeeping, do nothing at this point. To choose a 12h time clock, press and release the horizontal bar on the front of the computer and the flashing “24h” will be replaced by a flashing “12A.” Allow the “12A” to continue flashing. To set the time, press and hold the horizontal bar until the “1” in 1:00 begins to flash. Press and release the horizontal bar once for each hour you want to advance. When you’ve arrived at the current hour, press and hold the horizontal bar again and “00” will begin to flash. Press and release the horizontal bar repeatedly until you arrive at the correct time. Then press the menu button again. Using the horizontal bar, toggle through the other modes until you reach the one you want displayed during your ride. To clear any data in any mode, press and hold the horizontal bar while in that mode.
MOUNTING THE COMPUTER TOO CLOSE TO THE HEADLIGHT
If you mount your computer on your handlebars and position it near your headlight, the light can interfere with the signal from the sensor and the speed will read “0.00.” Conversely, if your speedometer frequently reads “0.00” during your rides, check the positioning of your computer and your headlight. In the photo, you can see that I moved my computer off the handlebars and onto the stem. I no longer see “0.00” instead of the current speed.
I’ve given the computer 4 stars instead of 5 because of the subpar instructions.

Both of us have used CATEYE bike computers for years. That’s why this model of computer was chosen. It is very high quality. Easy to install . And functions perfectly. It took me less than 30 minutes to unpack and install this bike computer. We opted for the wireless version and I am glad that we did. I have had only positive experience with CATEYE products. And as such I, Very Highly Recommend this company. CATEYE is one of the most positive contributors to cycling.

There is really only one button that does everything. Short taps cycle it through the various display options. Long tap resets the trip distance but retains the total distance. It works with the sending unit from my old cateye so I saved a little bit of work by not replacing that.

Haven’t used it yet but set it up. I’ve had cateye before, a very simple but effective computer

Easy to use (just one button), easy to read, accurate, and holds up well (even in wet conditions like rain or snow).

I like the simplicity of this CATEYE bike commuter. I mostly care about current speed, average speed, distance and time, and this computer does all that. As a bonus, your average speed doesn’t suffer when you are briefly stopped at a stoplight for example. The wireless design of this computer makes installation very easy. This computer has all the features I need without being overly complicated.
