Bought this for a hiking trip to the National Parks. It was super comfortable and convenient to use. It only leaked once- after I filled it and didn’t put the cap on properly. Highly recommend!

This is a good bladder in a good size with slightly too small pockets (won’t hold a large phone). It is a minimalist bag. Camelback is doing something where the affordable bags have tiny bladders or no storage at all. They have eliminated the 100 oz options from inexpensive bags with storage and you now need to go up to a lobo or mule to get one.

I have been using camelbacks for over 20 years starting early in my military career. They have all performed very well for the price and I am a fan. This one is no different. It is very lightweight (before water of course) and I use it in conjunction with my hill people gear SAR kit bag when hiking or biking for short excursions to keep some weight off my back and more balanced (as opposed to a Mule or Hawg or Osprey talon). It works great for that purpose however if there were any chance of me getting lost/stranded for more than ~6 hours I would opt for something a little large such as any of the aforementioned bags to hold a little more gear and water. If used for its intended purpose however, its fantastic.

When I was working for long periods outside, this was just the thing to help. It both provided the fluid replacement I needed and helped to keep me cooler. I would fill it with ice and add gatorade or other nutrient replacement drinks to the ice. The pack is very sturdy and easy to work with.

This CamelBak Classic is the slightly older model than the current version and in my opinion it is set up better with a zipper across the pouch rather than set vertically on the newest version. I use this CamelBak on my road bike to carry a few extra items and of course easy to get at water. This is an excellent item, not too big and not to small.

Pro:
Lightweight
Comfortable
The bladder holds enough water for my son (6) and I on a 4 mile walk.
Being able to control the flow of water (on or off) with the valve.
Con:
Small front pocket. I was able to get 2 granola bars, my keys, and 2 mask in the pocket. I was disappointed that my phone didn’t fit (even without all the other things in it) but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.
Overall opinion:
I love it. Just make sure you completely and correctly close the lid on the bladder. I messed up twice( on two different occasions) and had water leaking down my leg 🤦🏿♀️. And when you are not drinking water make sure you have the water valve closed (it may leak).

Good hydration bag… Chose this over Raida and Carbanodo as I purely wanted some established brand known for their hydration pack bags .. this bag is only for that purpose and it fits well and does the job nicely.
Water holds the temperature even in the scording Mumbai heat.
Very easy to fill water with the wide opening and the handle to hold while filling the water. I add ice as well just in case if Im going out when its hot.
The bag doesnt shake and securely fits even while jogging and it fits over the motorcycle jacket nicely.
I was very confused between Raida and this one, and finally decided to with this as its minimalist build.
