Worked great on Shimano Hydraulic Brakes. I had air trapped in the rear hydraulic brake line making them feel spongy. Was able to bleed the system while adding brake fluid with this kit. Comes with multiple attachment styles to fit many brands/types of brake fittings.

Don’t spend $50 bucks at the bike shop fixing your soft brakes, do it at home! This kit has everything you need for a brake bleed. I used it fix the brakes on my Giant Anthem and it worked fine for me. I didn’t use the fluid that is supplied because I already had an open bottle.

This kit had everything I needed for my Trek bike.
I used it to change out the mineral oil in the Shimano disk brakes.
This is a yearly chore along with other maintenance tasks.
The kit is easy to use and I reviewed a couple of videos on how.
I recommend this Brake Bleed kit.

I got these to install and maintain my Magura MT-7 brakes. In the end, the set did work, but because this is a big general set for all brakes (it seems) it took me forever to figure out which parts work for Magura vs Shimano or SRAM. The parts aren’t labeled, and the instructions weren’t helpful for that, so it was a trial and error process that made me wish I had gotten a set that was brand specific to Magura to not spend so much time goofing around with the fittings. I’d rather be riding. In the end, I did get it to work, but some sort of labeling would have made this a whole lot easier.

This is a good value brake maintenance kit and its pretty easy to use.
This kit almost certainly has everything you need to do a brake bleed on your bike. I was surprised at the number of available fittings inside the box. It’s exactly as depicted in the product images.
I did quick brake bleeds on my Shimano 105 equipped road bike and on a mountain bike with Shimano brakes. In both cases the bleed was easy and there was an immediate performance increase. If you have any doubts just watch a few videos online and there are plenty showing every step.
The parts I needed for my bleeds worked well, so there’s nothing to complain about. I can’t speak to the longevity of the kit, but I would make a point to wipe everything dry after you use it. If you don’t chances are you could be introducing contaminants into your lines the next time you use the kit.

I have bikes with Shimano, Magura and Hayes brakes, and work on a friend’s bike with Avids. I can’t verify that this is a 100% complete kit, but if it doesn’t have the parts you need to do basic brake bleeding and fluid change, you probably already know that you have an unusual brake setup. The syringes included with this kit are very nice, among the nicest low-cost option that I’ve seen.
Also be aware that this kit only comes with mineral oil. Personally I have use different equipment for mineral oil brake work and DOT brake work just to avoid risk in mixing the fluids. Probably not totally necessary, but worth noting. Make sure you know which fluid your brakes use before ordering.
