Although I don’t do all of my bicycle maintenance I found that this tool set was handy to have when I needed to do a quick adjustment on the bike. For example I needed to tune the wheel truing just a little bit, and the wrenches came in handy to do that. There are other tools here to help you check and tighten various parts of your bicycle. They’re also tools to help with tire repair and replacement if you get a flat. This might be a bit overkill if you don’t do a lot of bike maintenance, but if you do like to work on your bicycle yourself this tool set is nice to have as a separate kit.

This “Bike Tool Kit with Storage Case – 35 PCS Bicycle Repair Tool Set Portable – Bike Maintenance Tools for Road Bikes and Mountain Bikes” tool kit is absolutely fantastic. Basically “everything you need”, you may find here and there maybe a couple of specialized or brand/device specific tool that may be missing, but that would be very rare; you can basically do everything you need to do for your road bike or mountain bike with the tools you get in this kit. Comes in a very nice toolbox, and the overall quality of each piece of tool are generally quite good. With the toolbox and its neatly laid out compartments, this will keep you very organized, and will reduce the chance of you misplacing and losing tools. This is also a good kit that you can bring with you if you are doing a race or something along that line; this is a great field/starting point repair kit too.
All in all, for the number of tools and overall good quality, this is a good product. Just that it is still a bit spendy, a little pricy to pull the trigger on. Yet, if you are to buy all these 30+ tools individually, it will probably cost you as much, if not more.

I can’t bring myself to spend money on name brand tools. Purchased this and one too did break after the first use. Messaged the seller and they responded the same day and were great to work with. Would absolutely purchase again.

I absolutely love this toolkit. It has most of all of the weird bike specific tools you could need and keeps everything nice and tidy inside. As someone who struggles to stay organized (horray for adhd) this is an absolute dream. Everything has a specific place to be and stays right where you want it. The tools are really nice quality and the rubber handles feel great. There’s enough room in the case that I’m able to fit my shock pump, a spare chain, and zip ties. It’s small enough still that if I’m going on a trip with my bikes it absolutely always goes with me. This set has made it so easy to work on bikes anywhere I go and has VASTLY improved my quality of life in regards to working on bikes as I am always tinkering with my bikes.

I have a couple of smaller bike maintenance/repair tool sets but got tired of not having the right tool included. So, I went to the far extreme and got this set. This tool kit has more tools than I have bike parts! There’re a bunch of tools I have no idea what they even do. No manual is included, so I’ll be spending quite a while on Google and YouTube to figure it all out; might have to create a reference/cheat-sheet to keep in the case. The tools themselves all feel well made, sturdy, and smartly designed. Even the case is robust and has foam inserts with custom cutouts. This is an intelligently laid out case. However, it is a little hard to pull out the second try as there is no handle on it – it requires a bit of digging to getting a finger hold. I figured this would be a step above the rest when I saw it was made in Taiwan, which I always expect to produce better quality goods.
So, if you want an absolutely complete and thorough bicycle tool set, then I recommend this kit – the price is reasonable for the quality, design, durability, and manufacture/construction.

When it comes to bikes, being handy without the proper, dedicated tools is pretty costly – I learned in a couple of occasions. But it is so frustrating when I know exactly what the problem is, still would not risk taking a stab at fixing it as all chances are I will make matters worst without the specific tool that is required. And the handier you are, the more frustrating it gets. Bike shops in my area operate, let’s put it this way, as quantum businesses, all charges are a multiple of $100. So, a simple adjustment or worn part replacement requires two trips, several days of wait time, and a head-scratch-inducing bill. Sure, there are issues I would leave to them with no second thought nor remorse. For the rest of the issues, which are the majority, I collected a few tools over the years, still the range of tasks I would confidently tackle is real small. This is how I ended up biting the bullet on getting this set of bike repair tools.
For starters, I feel I overshot by a large margin getting all of these tools. There is everything I know of, some duplicates for tools I already got like wrenches and a chain tool, and then a lot of tools I will have to learn more about. My future self may prove me wrong in feeling I overshot, stuff that I’ll learn may put to good use much more from this set than I currently know how to use. Everything in the set looks to be of very good quality, not a single issue I could spot on initial visual inspection. Having everything in a sturdy case reigns-in the tools clutter which is the flip side of being handy. Have to up my knowledge and skills in bike stuff now that the tool is no longer the problem.
