I picked this up to have as a small extra tool kit for my office and not specifically for use as a bike set. Turns out it’s excellent for just that: a spare set of tools that fit neatly into a little bag and can easily be stored in a desk drawer or small office space for when tools are needed. The handle works well, although it’s not a ratchet (and I wish it were), and the heads are plentiful and varied. The little storage bag is helpful as well. The red storage box for the heads is a little funky; the way the heads are stored, some of the heads will often get caught on the other side, so they’re not all lined up in neat rows as they should be. Not a big deal but something to be aware of.

I don’t know how effective this kit would be for a travel kit for cyclists, as it does seem like a bit much to carry around all the time, but for a small home or office kit, it’s excellent.

I bought this assuming it was a tool kit to carry on the bike. Nope, its way too big and too much stuff. Howeve now I have an at home tool kit that virtually has everything I would need to do things on the bike.
Its a great little kit, the amount of bits it comes with is great and it will adjust everything!

Although I am a cyclist, I ordered this tool for my kitchen drawer. I’m always assembling or fixing things, and I end up with multiple screwdrivers taking up valuable drawer space. This multi-tool is a compact solution for most things I need to adjust around the house.

The compact packaging is a nice thought, but could be improved. The socket bits are very difficult to remove from their holder. I needed pliers to pull one of them out for testing. The other bits are packed in tightly enough that they are tough to remove without knocking their neighbors loose. I prefer a bag I can see through, because that’s how my brain works. I moved the set into a small mesh bag I had on hand so I can find it more easily.

The L-shaped handle works as an offset or straight screwdriver. It’s a bit small, so harder to grip if you need real torque, but good for small places. It is also a bit wide, since it is all handle and no shaft. For some tight spaces, that added width doesn’t work. I have a doorknob that needs frequent tightening, and this tool is too bulky to get to those screws.

My bike only needs a couple of Allen wrenches, but my home projects call for an assortment of bits including square and star. This tool saves space in the drawer while also keeping my most-needed bits handy. The bits are compatible with the drill and other tools as well. Though the form factor could be improved, this tool is inexpensive and versatile.

The product works great aside from the ballbearing and metal clip on the end of the wrench. The clip accidentally came off and lost a ball bearing so the screw driver or ratchet heads didn’t stay in. Easy fix though. Love the strength of the metal. I’d recommend!!

    – This is a very nice toolkit, but there’s no way anybody is going to carry all these tools in their saddlebag.

    – In addition to the above point, nobody will require all of these tools when they’re out on their bike.

So, if this toolkit is truly meant to carry in a saddlebag, it would include no more than about 10 tools.

    – I can certainly understand this toolkit for something at home; or, something to keep in your vehicle; but not in a saddlebag.

Outside of the above points, again, everything in this set is quite useful, and well made.

The primary wrench adapter that all the bits go into, does not have a ratchet feature. I was disappointed in that.

Also, again, I just really don’t understand why this toolkit has this amount of variety. Whether you’re working on a road bike, mountain bike, or even an e-bike, you wouldn’t need all of these various sizes and types of tools.

So, really this toolkit makes more sense as just a portable, home or vehicle toolkit.

In any event, I’m giving this toolkit four stars because it’s really a strong value, and every piece in the set is very nice.

Still, I’m at a loss for this being a toolkit for a saddlebag.

4 stars due to variety, quality, and overall value.

I got this to keep in my flat pack but it’s found it’s way into my tool drawer and out of my pack. The wrench is decent but has some quality issues whereby after a few uses the compression sleeve fell off. The bits are heavy and weigh down the pack significantly. It’s best to keep the small one in your pack with the most common sizes and leave the larger more bulky one at home. However, even so, there are better tools available and more specifically it’s best to get one that fits the flat pack that integrates a torque wrench since most of us now days are dealing with carbon bikes.
