first things first, I love the boa. However, first time I tried to open it, I grabbed the compass on top and it immediately came off – it’s only attached by a sticker like adhesive. The compass is a cute nice addition, but should have some type of mechanical way of being secured to the boa closer, or just simply be omitted from future revisions.
Interior volume is great, easily enough to carry an extra tube, or maybe even 2 and a multi-tool and probably even a CO2 inflator, I have confidence you’d be able to take all you need to make the most common repairs on the road/trail given the nice volume.
The other flaw I see here is while the boa strap is great, I feel there should either be a second strap or another maybe velcro type of strap at the front of the bag so it is securely attached to the seatpost. While not having this strap doesn’t immediately cause problems, it will eventually rub through the bag since the bag is free to sway back and forth at the seatpost. It could also potentially rub paint off your seat post or worse if you have maybe a carbon seatpost that gets rubbed raw. Once the bag gets rubbed through in the front, any water proof ability will go out the window. 🙁
It is possible that you could have a larger seat than me and this not be a problem, but I can see this will be an issue for most of the common seats most cyclists will be using.
That all said I will keep using this, even with it’s flaws mainly because the bike I have it on I am not concerned with looks or a some rubbing on the aluminum seatpost I’m using it on.

Just like the picture the pack perfectly fits under the bike seat. The seat strap has a an adjustable loop that easily tightens with the turn of the compass. It is also easy to release and open up the pack. There is enough room for a wallet, keys and any additional small stuff you want to include.

I got this bag for my backup bike where I don’t keep a top tube bag on all the time. This bag fits snugly under the saddle. The BOA dial works well and keeps everything nice and tight. It also has a compass on it which is cool, if you think you might get lost in the woods.

I like the size of the bike seat pack. I needed just a small size pack instead of a large seat or rack pack for my bike. This pack is just the right size. The main problem is finding the right way to attach the pack to my bike. It does not have straps, just a belt loop kind of attachment. So, I will try to figure the best way to attach the pack. Possibly just using some zip ties will be the best solution.
