Lube is a tough item to review if your are being honest.
It takes time to really evaluate it.
how well does it prevent corrosion and wear?
    does it repel moisture?
    does it penetrate well?

So far I can only say that this penetrates well. Seems to coat evenly. and quiets dry bearings quickly.
other aspects will have to be evaluated over time. I tend to revisit products as I use them, so hopefully ZI will drop back by and leave a not in a few months to update this.

What it is: 120ml BIC-360p bike chain lubricant with PTFE for wet, muddy trail/road/gravel conditions.

Why I like it: As an avid cyclist, I ride in all kinds of weather and environments. I use different chain lubes for different bikes and conditions. For wet, muddy roads, trails, and gravel, this lube is a great choice—it goes on wet, it stays wet, prevents grit from sticking, prevents corrosion, and does reduce friction. The pic of the cassette is after a wet trail ride in a sandy/clay conditions. I rinsed the drivetrain after the ride, and dried it with a leaf blower, and there was plenty of lube left on the chain and cassette. It seems to have held up well! Overall, an effective chain lube for rainy, wet conditions!

This is some liquid that remains liquid like oil. So, with this wax, you get all the same drawbacks as with regular oil.

Dry lubricant is a thinner, wax-based lubricant that dries to a film on the chain. It’s a good choice for dry or dusty conditions, as it won’t attract dirt and grime. I got this to try vs. the usual FinishLine dry lube that I usually get. So far, I think that this product works the same if not better than FinishLine.

I use this on my son’s bike chain. He bikes to school and sometimes the bike is left out while it’s raining. His chain was developing some rust. I used a chain scrubber with a degreaser, then I applied this lube to protect the chain. Since then his bike chain has not developed any more rust.

This bike chain lube is super easy to apply, and does the trick. As a casual rider, I can’t say that I’ve noticed any difference between this and my previous lubricants, so I can’t fairly give it 5 stars. The main sell point to me was the lack of Teflon which is a forever chemical. I’ll be sticking with this one once it’s time for a refill.

I have used wax lubes for quite a while. This is the first and only one that still stays wet. It actually appears much more similar to an oil lubricant. Also considering right in the description of this product it says no wetness or stickiness, which obviously isn’t true at all, I can’t believe any of the other claims for these lubricants. Wax should dry on hard, just look at any other wax lube such as Silca, Ceramicspeed UFO, Squirt, Smoove, etc.

Edit: I’ve added a photo to demonstrate what I am talking about. This lube was applied to a previously immersion waxed chain that was wiped completely clean before application. Applied the night before training and rode the next morning. As you can see, this is not wax, or if it is, not like the wax lubricants listed above that have proven results on independent studies such as Zero Friction Cycling. It leaves the dreaded black streak similar to that of an oil or wet lube. I’m bummed I spent 10 bucks on this and will now probably have to strip my chain and re-immersion wax it.
