I tried using it for the first time months after I bought it, but when I opened it one of the plastic brushes inside was already broken. I put it around the chain and poured some medical alcohol (as a solvent), but as I was spinning the pedal, this contraption just wouldn’t slide on the chain. I think the parts inside don’t move smoothly enough. Ended up cleaning my chain with a cloth.
