When I seen the picture of this item I thought I was going to get one of those brushes when I ordered lo and behold I ended up with all of those brushes when I ordered and it seems like I ended up with more than what’s in the picture LOL I’m not complaining I’m actually thoroughly pleased I take good care of my ebikes and my Evike chain especially because I do actually pedal my e-bike and my chain does get dirty after waxing it. This is exactly what I needed to get all the grime from in and out of the chain itself and all the little crevices and grooves and around everywhere that it goes and not just the chain but the chaining ring and the cassette I’m able to get in and around it to assure that when I wax that chain that I’m not going to have the wax dry and peel off quickly that it’s going to adhere to the metal. It seems to be made of good quality material the bristles aren’t falling out it’s not too hard or too soft and I love the shape of it because I can get in and around in many different angles with it and get where I need to go with those brushes. I definitely recommend it to somebody that believes in cleaning there bicycle chains on the regular.

My family goes biking a lot. And each of us has a couple of bikes for different situations and various other reasons. So we end up with multiple dirty bikes. And I’ve got all sorts of bike maintenance stuff, but I often end up misplacing brushes to clean out the gearsets and chains. Not anymore! Now I’ve got 3 of the same brush for some reason! But that works well for me, because, as I just mentioned, I misplace things. So in my garage, I keep one brush by the bike stand, but I have the others stashed away with my less used maintenance equipment and parts.
The smaller brush and the toothed piece helps with the cassette cleaning, though I really don’t know why there’s the long brush on the back of the chain brush and they also include a separate brush for that. Seems like you could use the brush on the back of the chain brushes to do that job, too. But maybe some people really prefer a flat brush to get in between each gear. I dunno.
Anyway, this is more than enough to help you brush the gunk and dirt off of your chains for a good long while. I’d say I’ll buy again, but this really seems like it should last me for a number of years, as long as I don’t let them get too dirty, or they fall apart quicker than I expect. Each one seems to get the job done over and over.

I ride a road bike quite frequently and keeping the chain clean is an important aspect of bike maintenance. Previous brushes I’ve used tended to be too soft or too large. This brush has two ends and I use both ends. I do wish the brush that had bristles on 3 sides was perhaps more narrow to accommodate a bike chain. It will scrub one side or the other but will not get all sides in one stroke. I suppose I could have ordered one with a smaller brush area for my bike chain and will consider doing so going forward. The bristles are strong and don’t bend too easily which makes it ideal for getting into the rear cassette sprockets. The strong bristles also make it ideal for actually scrubbing the chain. These brushes are ideal for a number of applications. Would recommend for specific uses.

The ROYHOO bicycle chain cleaning set is a good value selection with a couple of slight inconveniences that shouldn’t be a deal breaker, but it’s also not going to be as effective as competing premium products. Compared to the similar brush that Finish Line includes in its Drivetrain Kit (“The Grunge Brush”), the products are mostly similar with one major difference. The brushes included in this kit don’t have the longer bristles that wrap around the bike chain to effectively clean three sides simultaneously, instead the bristles are a shorter length and cannot wrap around the entire chain. Other than that, they are nearly identical aside from the handles included in this kit being straighter than the curved handle found on The Grunge Brush.
As I mentioned earlier, this kit is a good value at only $10 as you’re getting five pieces in total with three of those items being bicycle chain brushes. So, it’s very safe to say that these brushes should last you for a long while. The two additional pieces are to clean your sprockets with the all plastic item being a scraper to remove any gunk from between each gear. The other brush is designed flat and thin to better clean your sprockets and in between them. Of course the brushes hold up well and could be used for pretty much any other cleaning task as they’re not limited to just your bike, motorcycle, etc.
Just be sure to use a quality cleaning solution that’s designed for bicycles with these brushes to adequately clean the appropriate parts. You will probably want to initially degrease your chain and subsequently lubricate it with the appropriate wet or dry bike lubricant. The specific type of bike lubricant that you’ll need to apply post-cleanup will primarily depend on the weather conditions in your area that will affect your riding.
Ultimately, I think this is a good value set that packs in a lot of product for the money. I would certainly recommend this product for anyone who needs an assortment of decent quality, inexpensive brushes.

These brushes are exactly as advertised. They are durable, strong, yet flexible enough to get them exactly where I want them. At this rate, they’ll last me at least 5 seasons, with proper cleaning, care, and storage; no complaints.

These brushes are very large, so there is more contact and you clean more chain with each pass, but the brush is more difficult to maneuver in tight areas. The stiff bristles work well for dislodging grit.
