Great bike, the seat takes a bit of getting used to , the small wheels do not affect the speed at all and I go as fast as a normal bike.
I struggled to find a lock that would work with this bike, and eventually ended up with a kryptonite evolution with a cable and it fits the bike perfectly
Kryptonite Series 4 Evolution U-Lock 4 x9 ***correction it was the 3.25*7 inch w/ 4 ft cable***
The only thing that was kind of annoying was the little nobs on the frame that seal the hollow frame fell off ***EDIT these holes are for bottle holders***. I dont know what function it serves, but i guess even if water gets in the frame, its an aluminum frame so it shouldnt be a problem
Slight complications occurred during shipping and it was delivered from Toronto to Montreal in a little over a week (its usually 1 day) but the seller resolved the situation to my satisfaction via fast email communication.
***ONE YEAR LATER UPDATE***
DISCLAIMER: I leave the bike locked to a fence outside under a tree in summer. When the snow sticks I take the bike indoors, clean it and fold it for storage
Condition: the rubber band that holds everything on the rear rack stretched out and is not too long to fit tightly without looping around something else before clipping it in. Some paint chipping on the rear rack, some rusting of bolts and screws, these parts are not aluminum so its understandable, but it is still weird to see rust on the bike. Other than that the rest is normal wear, tear and scratches.
Usage : light daily commute to work of around 1-1.5 hours per day for most of the year, 1 month of intense commute for 2-2.5 hours per day riding from the Mile end to loyola through Mount Royal.
This is my first adult bike, I had a great time riding it and it was a gentle introduction to the world of cycling. Its an eye-catching bike (i have the fully black one, and i like wearing black) and I generally do not worry about it getting stolen since the parts are not standard sized, I usually just use the Ulock on the frame, leaving the wheels and seat exposed. Parking this bike is annoying, the frame sits rather low and I have to lift the bike and operate the lock at the same time to lock it to a normal bike parking post, in a one wheel suspension position. However after some time you gradually learn the good parking spots around the city, this bike parks pretty well on McGill bike racks and parking signs. When I have to use other modes of transport such as the metro, I try to avoid rush hour. I do not think it is realistic to fold this bike on the metro or bus, as it becomes very difficult to transport when folded (difficult to avoid touching the chain or the wheel, potentially getting dirt onto my clothes). However it fits in the trunk of a car perfectly, which saved me from burning out a couple of times
For the first month or 2, riding was a struggle, it was a super hot summer, I live uphill, work downhill and I rarely hit the gym. But soon i was riding on the smallest gear all the time and the speed settings became rather useless. As I started enjoying the speed of riding, I put the seat super high (at least 5cm more than the limit) and lowered my handle bars. This increased my speed but I was still limited by tiny wheels (yes they are slower, and you do notice it, especially when you get fitter), and the riding position I prefer now is not friendly with the frame of this bike since the center of gravity is too high (if I want my legs fully extended on the down pedal for max power) , combined with the lightweight AL frame and my large aerodynamic resistance (i m 5’10), making the bike feel unstable when going downhill at steep angles (on st urbain between Sherbrooke and Maisonneuve for example, around 30 degrees)
Overall i think this is a solid bike for commuting medium to short distances, 30 mins one way is preferable, as it is short enough to negate the effect of small wheels. When you are riding for longer, It feels like running a marathon with tiny legs. You notice how slow the bike is compared to other riders, especially on flat ground. It is light to carry and foldable, easy to store during off season (around 4-5 months here). Its definitely exceeding my expectations, a year ago I bought this thinking that I just want to commute and not wait for the bus, but now I m diving deep into cycling and I feel prepared for the next stage of getting a proper road bike
The bike is able to fit a large range of sizes, I cannot confirm the smallest fit, the max recommended height for this bike is 6’7, I am 5’10, inseam around 33 inches and I can confirm that this bike fits my body in normal commuter upright riding position. Another minor thing is try not to ride with wide legged pants on, otherwise your right leg pants will touch the chain when you pedal and get very dirty.
I m passing this bike onto my shorter friend and will upgrade to a proper road bike soon!
Jim, I wish bikes had 3 speeds, “hungover”, “normal”, “caffeinated” , that would be perfect! I didnt know you guys do bike shows! I ll probably check you guys out in Toronto (i m moving there) next time !

Not sure what else I can really add that everyone else hasn’t already said. I was looking for two lightweight folding bikes that would fit in my airplane so wife and I would have transportation when landing at airports away from civilization. These bikes are exactly what my we were looking for. Ready out of the box. Excellent construction! The clamps are very well thought out and super easy to use. The folding and unfolding takes a couple of minutes to get right the first time or two but after that it’s super easy. The magnet lock is a really nice touch. They ride really nice too and the gear mechanism is flawless.
Thank you Solorock!

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at the speed at which this arrived at my door. I ordered on a Friday and it arrived the following Monday. It’s lightweight and easy to fold, my e-bike weighs twice what this little fella does. Ladies, don’t let this one pass you by, I thought it would be a knee knocker as the placement of the folding hinge might have been an issue, but it’s not, I am 5’4″ tall, older, it’s not an issue. There won’t any issues getting on public transportation, nor airlines, and here in canada via rail, so it’ll be a perfect compainion for getting around. The rear rack will hold panniers or duffle bag, so it you plan to bike tour with this, I’ll be testing that out when warmer weather makes that possible. I use an older set of panniers for grocery shopping. The rear rack, is as durable as any I’ve come across, shouldn’t be an issue.
This I have no doubt will be a very practical bike for many years.

The SoloRock Wonder is a fantastic, lightweight, extremely well-designed and well-built folding bike. Simple to unfold and fold, an easy fit for me: 6’2″, 210 lbs, and great fun to ride. Mine, once I followed the simple instructions to unfold it, was a terrific ride within a few minutes of opening the box. Buy one and see!

The bike is great, love the color, not too heavy.
Customer service was amazing, they were able to change the color because I made a mistake and selected the wrong one.
Would totally recommend this bike <3

Everything about this bike is Impressive. Quality craftsmanship and attention to detail right up there. A must buy for Xmas!
I live in an apartment on the second floor. 27 lbs. is a breeze to take up and down stairs.
Love the way the bike folds up and stores. Very small foot print.
