Our group bought a variety of these in different colours so we could all have one on our trip for emergencies and they came in handy and help up, now packed away waiting for next trip. 🙂

We needed these last minute for a concert. It was a HUGE DEAL: the entire family together for one of our favorite bands AND my youngest’s first stadium concert. We waited a year for this, planned our vacation around the concert dates, and planned everything to the last detail but as fate would have it Hurricane Debby decided to hug the cost and saturate the Philadelphia area. It could have been worse, I know people lost their homes and possessions further south of us but this was still terrible for us at that moment. Watching the weather reports on Wednesday night, I set out Thursday morning to find ponchos, NO PONCHOS in the stores. So I went to Amazon and found these available for next-day delivery so I decided to go for it. Some reviewers said they were cheap and thin — ugh, yeah, it’s a pullover poncho for $4-$6. If you want quality rain gear there are plenty of high-end sporting goods stores that specialize in rain gear. THIS IS A PLASTIC PONCHO. Did I expect diamonds and furs, no, but I did expect a decent product to keep me and my kids dry for a few hours at least. And did these ponchos do that? YES YES YES and YES!! When we arrived at the venue it was pouring! Sheets of rain, straight down, soaking everything! My husband and son are each 6′ and had coverage to the knees and since both were wearing combat boots they were relatively dry from top to bottom. My daughter and I are just over and just at 5′ and we had coverage to our shins. The ponchos were thick enough to keep our top halves dry, the snaps closed easily, and the hoods were large enough to hold a whole lot of hair – and for me to pull it forward enough to shield my glasses. We lucked out with our seats being 2 rows behind an overhang so the rain was no longer an issue for us. We took off our ponchos rolled them up and stuffed them under our seats. I carried them back to the car and back to the hotel and laid them out to dry completely. THEY ARE PERFECTLY FINE! No tears, no holes. I folded them up and put them in compression bags for a future trip. So happy that I ignored the negative reviews about being thin or flimsy, that was not our experience at all. And the colors were great – I ordered black and grey – yes they were see thru (the grey more so than the black but not sheer). DEFINITELY need more of these in different colors for a trip to London next year

Had bought these for a trip and sure glad we did because we for sure needed them! Kept us as dry as a poncho could!

It did what I needed. Lightweight, fit great, easy to use, seems like decent quality and seems durable. Used it to work a festival and it kept me and my chair dry with how wide it opens at the bottom. I was able chair my chair and stuff too. I would recommend trying for outdoor events

We carried these all over Italy for two weeks. It never rained! They seem really solid and fit in out carry bag.
Maybe I should book a trip to a rainier climate!

I recently purchased the Borogo 2 Pack Rain Ponchos for Adults Reusable, and while they do offer decent rain protection, I encountered some issues with the connection buttons that affected my overall experience.
Design and Material:
The ponchos are made from a sturdy, waterproof material that effectively keeps the rain out. The size is generous, providing ample coverage for both my body and backpack. The transparent design is a nice touch, allowing my clothes to remain visible while staying dry.
Button Issues:
Unfortunately, the connection buttons on the ponchos did not work very well. They frequently came undone, especially when I moved around a lot or when the wind picked up. This was quite frustrating and significantly reduced the effectiveness of the ponchos in keeping me dry. I had to constantly readjust and refasten the buttons, which was inconvenient.
Ease of Use:
The ponchos are easy to put on and take off, and they fold up compactly for storage. I appreciate that they are reusable, making them a more environmentally friendly option compared to disposable ponchos.
Durability:
Aside from the button issues, the material seems durable and capable of withstanding multiple uses. I haven’t noticed any tearing or wear after a few uses, which is a positive aspect.
Value for Money:
For the price, these ponchos offer decent value. However, the button problem is a significant drawback that affects their overall functionality. If the buttons worked properly, these ponchos would be much more reliable and convenient.
Overall, the Borogo 2 Pack Rain Ponchos provide good rain protection with a durable and reusable design. However, the poorly functioning connection buttons detract from their effectiveness. I would recommend these ponchos if you don’t mind dealing with occasional button issues, but there may be better options available for reliable rain protection.

I loved these and they worked very well. My only complaint is they after they are used they are hard to roll back up and store, something I didn’t think about until it stopped raining. These are thick and durable so I didn’t want to throw away. I wish they came with a little carry bag, I ended up rolling them up and using the straps to keep in place like shown in the first picture.

We got caught in a monsoon in the middle of woods while backpacking, we’re talking 4-5 inches of flash flooding. The ONLY thing that got wet was the side of my sleeping bag that was strapped to the outside of my pack and I didn’t button the sides of the poncho because the rain hit out of nowhere. They also pack small and light. My 9 year old and myself both wore these. Swear by them now.
