I like these gloves. The design is different from the ones we all wear. The greatest improvement for me is the seamless padding of the areas between your thumb and index finger. This part is often not padded at all, and if you are riding with your hands on the top of the handle bars, it can get sore. These gloves prevent that. Additionally, the padding is pretty good making the hands comfortable during long rides. The gloves are fairly thick fabric making them a little hot. I would not wear them on a really hot day.

I have only been on 2 rides with these gloves so I do not know how reliable they will be long term but they appear to be very well made, fit extremely well and are very comfortable. I particularly like the material Giro used on the back of the glove, it is strong, slightly stretchy and smooth. The gel pads are not as thick as on my last pair of Pearl Izumi gloves, which is what I wanted, but they seem to be as shock absorbent if not more so than Pearl Izumis that cost about the same, and these gloves do not bunch up in my palm on the bars. I normally wear XL gloves, which these are, and the fit is just right. In summary these seem to be very sophisticated gloves, which I know is an odd way to describe a glove but it seems fit.

I’ve had this glove for less than 3 months now and the glove has stretched by the Velcro pulltab so now the glove does not fit. The stitching around the velcro on the tab is also falling apart. The chamois like pad is very comfortable though and that was the reason I bought it. Like Cycling Tips review, the thumb hole was very small and tight but it loosened up after a couple of rides. So overall, good padding for the palm, but the overall quality is poor and does not last.

These fit a bit loosely despite measuring my hand a few times. The palm doesn’t curl well with the hand and the back of the hand isn’t as tight as other gloves are.

The worst part though is at the fingers where the top meets the bottom. They used some sort of hard plastic thread or something so there are scratchy parts where the finger exits the glove. It’s this way on both the left and right glove on multiple fingers. Not sure if I’ll keep them cause its so pokey I can imagine it’ll just chafe badly on a ride as it is uncomfortable just putting them on.

Like any apparel or accessory item, a good or ill fit will often determine one’s experience (as seen in reviews here). Apart from material/construction durabiity (or lacking), what can be said about this new type of fabrication is this: The palm utilizes a newer design whose welded construction of highly elastic materials allows a newer degree of freedom, closer fit and more comfort over miles. The construction from Italian partner, Elastic Interface, is the same as padded shorts which is essentially a compositive structure with welded interface to eliminate seams and allow more comformance to shape. It actually works on this glove to set it apart from the norm (as all other glove palm materials like leather, Clarino synthetic or the like are non-elastic. The bottom line from this reviewer (a lifelong rider who has cycled through dozens of gloves) is that this may be the only glove I can remember I put on and forget. Cushioning is better than expected. Best of all: no mid-ride adjustments for irritation between fingers. Strangely none. And the fit is totally snug but without distraction or annoyance. That is a new experience and, thus, a validation that said-technology is bringing a clear benefit. Thumbs up on this one.

Seriously, most driving gloves are a ridiculous fashion statement and don’t actually help with driving. Get these instead. These are comfortable, nicely padded, have good grip, and are great for driving on warm days.

Not for use if you don’t want to leave fingerprints. Truly. These are fingerless, ok? You’re gonna leave prints.

These were the gloves I have been searching for. I was looking for a soft well padded glove that is spread along finger base, thumb and palms. I use this for riding on my Exercycle, my walker getting better grip on my cane. I have carpal tunnel syndrome on my hands so holding onto any kind of handle bar with out pain is difficult, add to walking on uneven pavement without it jarring my hands is also hard to find. They work well as driving gloves also. I wasn’t looking to spend this much on a pair of gloves but after trying some less expensive high rated gel padded gloves and having them not work out and knowing Giro does make good gloves I decided to try this out. They fit my large womanly hands very well in XL might stretch out a little bit after wear but that is okay. The fabric is light weight and comfortable and extremely well made. If there was a little bit of down side to this glove it would that a little more reflective material on the glove would be nice but the fact that so many brands don’t have any reflective material on them I’ll Take what is offer because I really enjoy wearing these gloves. I highly recommend buying them. I would not use these gloves for mountain biking or motor cows where a more ruggedly made glove made be more purposeful.

Top Verarbeitung, sehr gute Polsterung, sehr gute Luftzufuhr. Etwas mühsam ist nur die Auszieh-Hilfe (die Daumen bleiben stecken). Nicht tragisch, jedoch nicht ganz so perfekt wie die Handschuhe an sich sind. Trotzdem beste Empfehlung!

These are great for gravel, fairly easy to get on amd off, are comfortable for longer summer rides and have good shock absorbing padding. However, for as expensive as they are the thumb shouldn’t have ripped at the seam one one of the gloves as quickly as they did within 2 weeks of use (six 16-20 mile rides) . Luckily I know how to sew and was able to repair the seam on the thumb still holding weeks later, otherwise these would have been a 3 stars for me. Albeit, this is a common problem for all many mass glove manufacturers, they just don’t make these kind of things the way they used to.
