Really like that this keeps water cold and fits securely in my bike mount. Water flows out easily. A little too easily… I’ve tipped my bottle over a few times and lose half of my water. Wish they included the dirt cap instead of charging $5 for it.

While I appreciate that this bottle is (presumably) not poisoning me with xenoestrogens and microplastics, it fails at a very important duty every water bottle has – keeping the water inside.
Without fail, every time I fill the bottle, the first 2-3 times I tip it over to take a drink, water spills out from the line where the lid meets the bottle. The lid is screwed on as tight as it can be, and this still happens multiple times. It’s actually baffling. It’s enough water to be irritating and make me not want to use the bottle.
Bivo themselves make sure to tell you (in their FAQ, not in this product listing) that this bottle is “not leakproof”: “While your Bivo nozzle will seal shut, it is not completely leak-proof. We do not recommend putting your bottle in a bag with items that are sensitive to liquid.”
What do they think “seal shut” means?? Or are they straight copping to the fact that the nozzle isn’t the source of the leaking, and it’s actually the lid, despite the removable o-ring they’re so proud of? I’ve had it leak in my bag multiple times, even after I’ve gotten the obligatory 2-3 tip-related leaks out of the way.
Genuinely a poorly designed or poorly made water bottle and I cannot recommend strongly enough that you pick something else.

Best investment I’ve made that doesn’t have to do with an upgrade to my bike. Water stays cold and doesn’t taste like plastic.

After years of drinking hot water or cold water for one hour, I finally have bottles that keep cold drinks cold for hours on 90 degree days. The bottles are heavier, but for me it is a easy tradeoff. Every friend I have recommended Bivo Trio to has thanked me after their first use! Two tips: don’t use too much ice or your drinkable volume will suffer since un-melted ice is hard to drink. I needed to put some felt on my bottle cage to keep the noise down.
My cages on hollow aero frame made quite a racket on bad roads. (your roads and frame/cage combo could differ)
Final plus, water flow is great.

Great water bottle – use it for cycling and hot yoga. The fast pour spout is very refreshing.

Just don’t forget to plug it before trying to drink laying down. It pours so well it’s ginna go everywhere.

I was skeptical that a water bottle could stay insulated, not sweat, be light weight and keep my water cold in the heat and humidity of South Florida. After two rides now I’m 100% a convert and will never go back to my plastic water bottles ever again. The flow on these is incredible and after a 75 minute ride in 90+ degree heat and 98% humidity I still had ice in both bottles. They don’t sweat so I don’t have that fear the bottle will slip right out of my hand. Do yourself a favor and BUY THESE TODAY!!

Have over the years, purchased every insulated bike bottle that I come across. My pupose is to have an ice cold drink on a long ride. Anything plastic/insulated simply do not work. No matter how hi-tech or expensive they are. There are literally hundreds of steel vacuum insulated bottle our there, but there are a scarcity of bike oriented bottles out there. This is where Bivo come in. I fill it up with ice and water the night before and its ready to go in the morning. I live in a tropical country in Central America where the temperature is 90F,90% humidity all year round, this is where Bivo shines. All the drawbacks of steel bottles i.e. lower capacity cannot squeeze the bottle etc. are there, but it is not an issue with. Bivo has a unique free flow lid that works perfect. I refill the bottle when empty and there is still ice to keep my second-round cold. Absolutely no problem with water bottle cages. O-rings, yep! They can pop out. Be mindful of that. It happened to me. Short email to Bivo customer service, new O-rings being shipped out to me within an hour of me sending the email. Look forward to Bivo’s future design iterations. Good job Bivo!

I’ve been using plastic water bottles for thirty years, including insulated ones. My son, a real research nerd, gave me one of these and despite its a bit noisey when empty, this is a great product. I live in Texas and when taken from the fridge, this bottle gives me a cold drink after two hours on the road, on the bike.
