The size large fits a bit loose on my US size 11 cycling shoes, however not so much so that it greatly affects performance. This may also have the added benefit of reducing stress on the zippers, which other reviewers have said are prone to breaking.

After a handful of rides with them, they are reasonably warm and windproof, and seem like they will last quite a while. My only real complaint is that they’re a bit thick under the front lip of a 3-hole SPD cleat which can make it very difficult to clip into your pedals. For the price, though, I’m willing to deal with that inconvenience.

I am very pleasantly surprised by how well these inexpensive shoe covers work. When I cycle in the winter, my freezing toes have been the only real problem for me. I tried these shoe covers out on a 5-hour ride during which temperatures ranged from 36 – 44 degrees, and my feet stayed pleasantly warm throughout (also assisted by some thick wool socks). The most important thing is that they block the wind, which is the real problem when cycling! They just really worked for me.

I wear size 11.5-equivalent SPD (2-hole) clipless shoes, and the “9-12” size fit perfectly. They go on super easy and stay on without a fuss. Once they’re on I just forget that they’re there.

I have seen some reviews complaining that the zipper busted. Look, it’s a small zipper. You can’t use the zipper to pull the two sides together. You have to pull the two sides together with your hand, and only then zip it up so you don’t put stress on the zipper. This is pretty basic stuff, folks! Be gentle and the zipper will be fine. (You know that if it were a beefier zipper the weight dweebs would be complaining about how heavy it is.) Use your head.

These are not waterproof, so if you need something completely waterproof to protect your feet from rain or whatever insanity you get into on your mountain bike, you’d better look elsewhere. However, if all you want is something to protect your shoes from mud splatter and such, these will do just fine. I rode through a bunch of gross puddles with these on and they stopped that amount of spray from reaching my feet. They came clean enough wiping with a damp rag.

These are like a quarter the price of the fancy shoe covers. I don’t mind paying for expensive cycling gear when it’s necessary, but I figured that shoe covers are just going to get muddy and wet and full of road salt from winter riding, so why bother paying $80? These work just fine and when they get too nasty from the salt and grime I can just replace them. Good deal, and I can recommend these to winter cyclists in confidence.

I live in Michigan and ride even into deep winter (provided they clean the snow), I can’t complain about these covers.
I saw so many reviews on every single shoe cover, even the really expensive ones all complaining about people feeling cold, zippers breaking, all kind of stuff. So after a while I just decided on this shoe cover to see what happens.
Well, couldn’t be happier. I have never ever felt cold, even when it’s several degrees below freezing and windy too. I have absolutely no issue with the closing of them (I mean, just be gentle and there is just no way you’ll break it). They are snug, warm, very wind resistant. I don’t think I would buy one of the really expensive ones as I don’t see how they would provide me something these don’t already do.
    I totally recommend them.

My husband liked them when bike riding in the cold. Kept his feet warm and dry.

Review after one ride – they do their job well as long as you feet never leave the pedals. The size large is apparently too big for a US men’s’ size 12 running shoe. The cover came off at the toe multiple times, filling my shoe with snow when I had to dismount and walk. The material is like a wetsuit and absorbs water which transfers to shoe and sock over a long ride. The Velcro straps on both covers was already unraveling after one ride. I plan to shred these and then spend more money on something higher quality.

Really like the shoe covers and the way they fit. May be a tad small, but I like them snug so they work for me. I would probably go for a slightly larger size and give these to my daughter. The quality seems good so far but the zippers seem suspect as they just don’t seem like they will be durable. They seem similar to some other zippers on rock bros. products that have failed me in the past. I wish they would find some higher quality zippers.

Just what I was looking for: warm, moisture resistant, wind resistant AND easy to get on and off. I bought a size large and they are roomy, but they are easier for my arthritic fingers to zip and unzip. Much sturdier than the brand I bought previously, and less expensive. Highly recommend for cycling when temps drop below freezing and even below 20 (along with wool socks and toe warmers when it’s really cold).
