I bought this bike for my daughter because it was a throwback to the bike that I had growing up as a child. I had a Schwinn Stingray back in the 70s and was happy to see that the model style was still available.
I chose this model because my daughter is a bit taller than the average child and she did not do that well with the BMX-style bike she had before this one.
The bike arrived in a box that was slightly damaged but I figured that’s what happens in transit. All the parts were there and as you can tell from the picture the rear fender was damaged a little bit-but that seems to be what’s happening with all of these bikes if you look at the other reviews and pictures.
Beyond that, I did have to go through a store-bought pair of training wheels that were not long enough, but I did find a pair on Amazon that work perfectly.
My daughter loves the color of the bike & I was able to find a helmet that matched perfectly. Her learning has increased and she enjoys riding the bike – even with the falls she inevitably takes – and has already asked to remove the training wheels!
Schwinn makes a GREAT, sturdy product and I am glad to pass on my bike riding tradition to My Kids.

No hand brakes to come loose and fall off, more comfortable than straight handlebars. Easy to ride.

Please see my picture to obtain the lowest seating position without modification. Basically, you just need to tap the seat post so it goes down after securing the seat brace (arc)! Now, the product specification is still wrong, daughter is 4’2 and her tippy toes shoes barely touch the ground so she has to wait a bit before she can ride this bike comfortably. Seat brace (the arc) should be drilled in different positions to allow adjustment. However, I’m still giving this bike a 5 stars because I got mine from amazon warehouse with the damaged box but everything is intact. Kudos to Amazon!

So, yeah, my kiddo loved it. It arrived in good shape; no dings, dents, or scratches to speak of. Assembly wasn’t difficult.
As others have said, it’s designed for a large child, borderline adult-sized. It was too big for my kid (taller-than-average 6-year-old). I tried to lower the seat, but it’s not really possible in a significant way–the rear bolts on the seat aren’t adjustable. That seems dumb; I drilled some holes in the bar so I could lower the seat quite a bit. That helped a lot and my kid is able to ride it now, and it’ll be adjustable as she grows.

This bike is adorable. The colors are perfect. It is difficult to see how cute it is until you see it in person. It is a beautiful bike!
