The Marx-Bensdorf Cycling Team is an amateur cycling team based out of Memphis, TN. The team consists of Cat 1, 2, and 3 Men’s and Women’s team members that travel around the southeast and beyond in search of quality road racing events. The parent club of Marx-Bensdorf the Amateur Cycling Club of Memphis, which is a not for profit corporation whose goal is to help spread and grow the sport of amateur cycling throughout the region.

Formerly named Memphis Motorwerks, this team has since be renamed the Marx-Bensdorf Cycling Team since 2008. This team has a rich history dating back to the early 90′s and continues to grow and develop top notch cyclists.

2010 was the first year for the Women’s team and they came out with a fury amassing numerous wins and podium finishes across the southeast. They have quickly established themselves as one of the top women’s teams in the southeast and a force to be reckoned with.

2010 also marked the first year of BPC Cycling (www.buildpeakcompete.com) which has served as a development team for the Marx-Bensdorf Cycling Team and is comprised of Cat 4 and 5 racers. 2010 saw 5 racers from the BPC Cycling move to the Cat 3 ranks and onto the Marx-Bensdorf team.
